6 Marvel Superhero Video Games I Want To Play
The big superhero video game news this week is that Spider-Man is finally coming back to gaming! It won’t be a movie tie-in or a kiddie game. Instead, it looks to be a return to glory with Spidey swinging around a digital Manhattan! They perfected the gameplay back with the now-legendary Spider-Man 2 game back on the Playstation 2. Surely the Playstation 4 era can do something just as good.
Beyond the new Spider-Man game, word is also coming out of Marvel that they want to put more effort into their superhero video games. No longer will they churn out crummy movie tie-in games. It sounds like Marvel wants to do for their video games what they built for their movies. Perhaps the overwhelming success of the Batman: Arkham franchise has convinced Marvel that there is money and notoriety to be had in the world of video games!
This sounds great to me (even though I don’t own a Playstation 4, and likely won’t get to play the new Spider-Man game)! And I’m just the guy to offer Marvel a few suggestions for possible video games.
6 Classic Warcraft Characters They Should Add to the (Hopefully Inevitable) Sequel
For reasons that still befuddle me, the producers of the Warcraft movie decided to adapt the original video game storyline from the 90s. Even though Warcraft became a household name with the World of Warcraft MMORPG in the 00s, they turned back the clock to focus on the origin story of the world. I supposed it makes some kind of sense, but it leaves out all of the most popular characters and stories.
We’ll have to wait until the threequel or fivequel before we see the likes of Thrall, Illidan, the Lich King or Chen Stormstout!
But that’s not to say the early days of Warcraft don’t have fun and exciting characters. And being the super lore nerd that I am, I’ve decided to put them in a list. Last week, I wrote about Warcraft concepts and characters I hope to see someday down the line, later in the franchise. That was before I saw the actual movie. Now that I’ve put in the time in theaters, and now that I see them sticking pretty close to the early stories, I’ve got a few more specific ideas in mind.
If Warcraft 2 sticks with that earlier timeline, who are some classic Warcraft characters they should add? You won’t find too many of them in World of Warcraft, but back in the day, they were our champions!
Except FULL SPOILERS for the new movie after the jump.
I’m Coming to Get You, Clementine! Again!
Expect a lot of video game news this week with E3 right around the corner. Seeing as how I’m lazy, I probably won’t post all of it. Heck, I wasn’t even going to write about the new Batman game from Telltale Studios. It looks neat…but no sign of Robin, yet.
Speaking of Telltale, however, there’s no way I’m going to miss out on the first teaser trailer for Part 3 of their ongoing The Walking Dead saga! I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: out of all The Walking Dead material, my favorite character is Clementine. She’s the best!
Those new graphics look amazing!
Based on this teaser, Clementine is once again going to age up between games. That’s fine. There were, like, 5 different endings to Part 2, and there was no way Telltale would be able to support them all in the new game. All that matters is that Clementine is still awesome, and that looks to be true!
Can’t wait for the new chapter!

Talk a Walk Down Warcraft Memory Lane!
The Warcraft movie is out and it’s getting terrible reviews! That might dull its success in America, but it’s killing overseas! Hope for a sequel remains! I won’t see the film until Saturday night, but until then, we can always count on the Honest Trailers folks to have some fun.
Those take me back. I’ve played Warcraft since the very beginning. Such a fun game! I hope to enjoy the movie.

Am I The Only One Around Here Who Doesn’t Care About Legendary Pokemon?
New information about Pokemon Sun and Moon is coming out in drips and drabs. We’re still waiting on the evolution of the new starters (and I’m still a Litten man), but here’s a short video introducing the two legendary Pokemon for the game! And I couldn’t care less!
I haven’t cared about a legendary Pokemon since Mewtwo. I just don’t see the point. You get them automatically. Pick whichever one is on the cover, and the story gives you that one for free. There’s no skill, no hunting, no real challenge. And there’s always some lame reason why these two Pokemon are the best ever, despite there being two similar legendary pokemon for the past several games.
I’m probably gonna go with the cosmic space bat.
