The LEGO Movie Just Gets Better and Better
The LEGO Movie comes out on DVD this week, so all of you hold-outs who didn’t go see it in theaters can finally enjoy what is still the best movie of 2014! And if you get the Blu-Ray, you apparently get special LEGO short films, like History Cops, which might just be the best short video of 2014.
That this was made by the people behind The LEGO Movie is even better. I’m glad I live in a world where this sort of thing exists.
Also, The LEGO Movie is so good, I’m considering buying the DVD. It’s that good!
The Internet is Equal Parts Amazing and Snark
First of all, check out this gorgeous picture of a Disneyfied Doctor Who, drawn by the now Internet famous Stephen Byrne.
I love this picture. It’s stunningly gorgeous, both in the way it really does tap into the look and feel of Disney animation, while also giving each of the Doctors his own perfectly realized look. It’s stunning. My Internet Hat is off to this Stephen Byrne guy for the drawing alone.
But then Byrne goes one step further, and solidifies himself as the winner of the Internet for this month.
A lot of people started criticizing the drawing in terms of accuracy to the real Doctors. For example, the Fourth Doctor was actually fairly tall and lanky, whereas Byrne chose to draw him short and impish. Personally, I love it, but the Internet is a place of great criticism and foolishness.
Fortunately for us all, Bryne’s response was so sarcastic that he may have single-handedly redefined the word.
Instructions for a Kitten
Oh cats, don’t ever change. Just keep being adorable and you will forever rule the Internet.
The voice in the background is Zefrank, who makes some pretty hilarious Internet videos about animals. If you’ve got some time, you should definitely check them out – including my particular favorite, Sad Cat Diary. Enjoy.
Literal Trailer: X-Men: Days of Future Past

I think this was one of his most ambitious songs yet. It’s dark, spooky, and perfectly funny alongside the X-Men: Days of Future Past trailer. I wish he’d come out with these more frequently!
The Trial of Tyrion Lannister
Since there was no new Game of Thrones this past weekend, I thought today would be the perfect day to indulge in some more awesome Only Leigh animation! Behold her silly, animated vision of the trial of Tyrion Lannister!
Ser Pounce remains probably the best character in the show. No doubt he’ll be dead before the end of Season 4.
