Watch She-Ra and the Princesses of Power Season 3!

It’s a pretty slow Monday in stuff I have ready to post on the internet, so I think I’m going to take this moment to remind you all that season 3 of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power is out on Netflix!

It’s a great season and a great show!

Also out is the third season of GLOW, which is another amazing show! Seriously, two of my favorite shows these days came out with their third seasons within a week of each other! I’m thrilled. And the next season of BoJack Horseman should be available soon.

Honestly, TV is great these days! I’m a very happy geek.

6 Masters of the Universe Characters I Want to See in She-Ra and the Princesses of Power

Forgive the long title, but I wanted both properties to get full recognition. She-Ra and the Princesses of Power released its third season on Friday — or, more correctly, it released the second half of its second season. But semantics aside, season 3 was amazing! The story got deeper and cooler, the action was crazy, the characters were amazing, and Entrapta is still the best princess!

She Ra New Characters List 01

I shoulda just used a picture of Entrapta

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power gets my highest TV show recommendation. It expertly crafts character and narrative into a real barn burner of a story, with intense action and some of the best character drama in animation today. It’s also so darn good at re-using classic Masters of the Universe characters.

Tung Lashor makes a surprise appearance in a season 3 episode, which got my brain whirring about other classic toyline characters I want to see in the new cartoon. Specifically, I want He-Man and She-Ra crossover characters! Season 3 reveals more about Adora’s mysterious origins, and it’s got me hoping that the show will eventually be allowed to introduce her twin brother, Adam. Much like how the DuckTales cartoon is bringing in so many classic Disney cartoon afternoon characters, I want She-Ra and the Princesses of Power to eventually open up to a full-on Masters of the Universe revival!

And when it does, these are the characters I personally want to show up! Join me after the jump!

Titans is Adding a Bunch of New Stuff to Season 2!

I enjoyed the first season of Titans on the DC streaming service. It treated the characters well, had a good story and presented the best live action Robin we’ve ever had. That counts for a lot with me. Well season 2 is on the way!

That’s a pretty rushed trailer, but there’s still a lot to show off. More Robin! Jason Todd! A cooler looking Raven! Bruce freakin’ Wayne, finally! Maybe we’ll even get Nightwing.

It’s a good show. I’m excited for seasons 2!

The Boys Begins Today!

We live in a world where Garth Ennis’ The Boys has a live action TV show. And it arrives on the Amazon Prime TV service today! I have such newfound respect for Seth Rogen, who I already loved, who uses his fame and wealth to turn awesome comics into hopefully awesome TV shows!

The Boys was a really good comic, even great at times. I’m excited to see it translated to television. I enjoy Preacher and my hopes are high for The Boys. It’s just a shame it took this long to get made, and Simon Pegg couldn’t play Wee Hughie.

Check Out the Picard TV Show

I was never a Star Trek fan. Just wasn’t my thing growing up. But nowadays I’m a major consumer of all things geeky and TVish (though I have yet to see the second season of Star Trek: Discovery). Anyway, I’ll definitely be checking out this new Jean Luc Picard-based TV show when it comes out. This trailer is from Comic-Con last weekend.

Star Trek: Picard looks to be a fun revival-type show, where a bunch of classic Star Trek actors show back up to appeal to nostalgia and fan service. Along with the obvious Picard, we’re also getting Seven of Nine from Star Trek: Voyager, which is a nice touch! Data and Ryker are also scheduled to return. And if it’s popular, I’m sure a lot of people will be back.

Picard arrives on some streaming service or another early next year.
