Ironheart is Coming Soon!

The Ironheart TV show will arrive on Disney+ next month, and Marvel has finally put out a full trailer for the show! I think it looks good and I’m definitely going to watch.

I thought Ironheart was fine in Wakanda Forever, and I’ll watch anything Marvel puts out, with an open mind. I didn’t have much faith in an Agatha Harkness TV show, but Agatha All Along was really fun! Even Echo was entertaining. So you best believe I’ll watch and hopefully enjoy Ironheart.

The first half of the show will come out on June 24, and then the second batch of three episodes will come out in July.

New Season of Peacemaker is Gonna be Sweet

Late last week, we got the first look of the second season of Peacemaker, and it looks super sweet. It should go without saying that the first season of Peacemaker was phenomenal television. Loved every second of that show. So you best believe I can’t wait for season 2.

And season 2 looks great! I’m not some big continuity wonk. It doesn’t matter to me that season 1 was part of the previous DC movieverse, and season 2 will be part of the new movieverse. It’s all just Peacemaker to me. And I can’t wait to see these loveable losers get up to some new hilarious and heartwarming mischief.

Peacemaker returns to HBO on Aug. 21.

6 Thoughts on the First Season of Daredevil: Born Again (Review)

It’s a shame that Andor has already started because I’ve already stopped thinking about Daredevil: Born Again. Heh. But still, I’m here to talk about my thoughts on the first season of the new Daredevil show. And like the Marvel Zombie I am, I enjoyed the season, though I don’t think it lived up to the hype.

TV Show Rating: 7/10 – Good

I watched and enjoyed the original three seasons of Daredevil when they came out on Netflix. I binged them just like everybody else, and I enjoyed all three seasons. I’m not the biggest Daredevil fan, but I’ve read a lot of his comics and I’m always in favor of more Marvel entertainment. I’ve definitely been fully on board with bringing back the original actors to revive the Netflix show. I just wish it had been a little stronger.

Join me after the jump for my full thoughts/review of the first season of Daredevil: Born Again. Expect FULL SPOILERS for the whole season. And feel free to share your own thoughts in the comments below!

Murderbot Looks Like a Fun Show

For my money, I think AppleTV+ has the best shows when it comes to streaming. I watch all sorts of TV shows across all streaming services, and AppleTV+ is pretty much nothing but bangers. I haven’t loved all of their shows equally, but they have more hits than misses. And next up is Murderbot, which looks really fun.

I’m a little disappointed when he takes off his helmet to look human…but the narration and comedy and sci-fi elements look like they’re really fun! So Murderbot is definitely on my list of upcoming shows to watch!

Murderbot comes to AppleTV+ on May 16.

More Animated Star Wars!

Remember Tales of the Jedi and Tales of the Empire? Those animated shorts from the past few years, that highlighted a couple of special characters? I barely do! But they were alright. Definitely watchable. Well we’re getting more! Tales of the Underworld! Featuring a pair of really cool bounty hunter characters.

I can take or leave Cade Bane. Never been all that interested in him, for whatever reason. He’s fine. I’m far more interested in Asajj Ventress! I’ve always liked her. And I just recently finished Bad Batch, and this version of her appeared for a single episode. I’m all for having her exist as a badass ronin with a yellow lightsaber. I’m perfectly happy with that being her place in the Star Wars Universe!

We don’t have long to wait for this one. Tales of the Underworld comes out on May 4, Star Wars Day.
