Wonder Woman Will Protect Us On Election Day
Today’s the big day, America! Let’s do it to it and vote and stuff. I guess. I don’t know about you, but I’d much prefer just to watch videos where the new Wonder Woman movie trailers are synced up to the classic Wonder Woman TV show theme song!
Kudos to Sebastian Hughes for making it happen. This stuff is just super fun!

Let’s Get Scary and Funny for Halloween!
Much like that glorious film Nightmare Before Christmas, we’re going to combine Halloween and Christmas today with the help of Only Leigh! Also, Stranger Things.
Been too long since we had a Leigh comic! I hope she’s keeping busy with awesome projects.
How’s everybody’s Halloween going? I’ll be going as makeshift Captain America again, since costumes aren’t necessarily allowed in my office. Part of me would love to be the badass rebel who wears a costume anyway, but that’s not the office personality I’ve cultivated over the years. Still, I’ll know I’m Captain America.

Iron Fist Punches, Kicks and Cements His Place in Our Anticipation Schedule!
Iron Fist was apparently the star of New York Comic-Con on Saturday, as Marvel trotted out a bunch of clips from the upcoming Netflix show and a brand new, bigger, better trailer!
I know I say this a lot, but it looks pretty great to me! I’ve been a fan of every Marvel Netflix show, and they’ve once again made a really great trailer. I suppose it’s not that hard to make a great trailer, especially for the people at Marvel. They’ve been on point in their trailer game for a long darn time.
But this Iron Fist trailer looks great! The fighting looks cool, and I like the thump, thump, thump of the hits. The mystery sounds nifty and, based on some of the clips that were shown off at Comic-Con, the show sounds like it’ll be another hit. Plus, that’s totally Madame Gao in that trailer. That’s gonna be sweet.
Though that dragon tattoo on his chest looks kind of dumb. Hopefully he gets his super suit before too long, and hopefully it’s based on the modern design.

6 Thoughts on the First Season of Luke Cage
I look forward to the Marvel Netflix shows about as much as I look forward to their new movies each year! The quality is through the roof, and I can always count on a solid weekend of binge-watching, as if we were dealing with a 13-hour movie. I’m totally OK with that! The production values are great, the stories and characters are phenomenal, and Marvel continues to be outstanding entertainment. Their new show, Luke Cage, proved to be no exception last weekend.
Season Rating: 8/10 – Very Good
Sometimes I think it would be great to get a full movie/TV crossover, and sometimes, when I’m in the middle of a great show, it just doesn’t matter. Luke Cage deserves to stand on its own as a solid, enjoyable entertainment. It’s a full season of television that delivers powerful drama, amazing characters and some great special effects. This is the sort of superhero storytelling that I could only have dreamed about as a kid.
So join me after the jump for my season review of Luke Cage on Netflix! Expect FULL SPOILERS for the show!
You’ve Never Seen The Flash Like This! Unless You Watch Honest Trailers a Lot!
The good people at Screen Junkies have gone and done their sweet critical treatment to The Flash TV show, because perhaps they’re running out of movies? Doesn’t matter, still a bunch of fun.
And at least they call out that huge problem I have with The Flash. Stupid illegal prison! You people are not heroes! You’re kidnappers!
