Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 5/12/18
Just one week until Deadpool 2 comes out! If only I was reading Deadpool comics and could link these reviews and that movie in some way. I guess I’ve just got to wait until Marvel makes that Squirrel Girl movie.
Lots of good comics this week, I enjoyed almost everything. I still think Exiles is terrible, but Domino, Runaways, Squirrel Girl and Detective Comics are still a blast! And Comic Book of the Week goes to the kick-off issue of the Justice League: No Justice storyline. It’s big and fun!
Meanwhile, if you live in the Rochester, NY area, I’ll be at the Flower City Comic-Con promoting Gamer Girl & Vixen next month! Mark your calendars!
Comic Reviews: Detective Comics #980, Domino #2, Exiles #3, Justice League: No Justice #1, Runaways #9 and Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #32.
I Can’t Wait for Teen Titans Go! To the Movies
I love Teen Titans Go! I loved the original cartoon, sure. But Teen Titans Go! is something truly special. I know a lot of people hate it, but man, those people are squaresville, daddy-o! This show is hilarious and is one of the best examples of trolling in television!
So bring on the movie!
Love it! Hilarious trailer! Can’t wait! Though as much as I love Will Arnett, they probably should have gotten someone other than the voice of LEGO Batman to do Slade. What happens if they want to do a crossover?!

There’s Going to Be a Teen Titans Go! Movie!
I love Teen Titans Go! I might be one of those few geeks that like this show more than the original. Teen Titans Go! is hilarious! I don’t know what sort of insanity they’re going to do for a full movie, but I am totally on board.
Gonna see this one in the theaters! And then we’re also supposed to get a live action Teen Titans TV show later this year, as well as the new season of Young Justice. There is so much Robin-based entertainment coming to me this year!

First Look at Live Action Robin!
Check out this awesome bit of costuming! We got the great news a couple weeks ago that actor Brenton Thwaites would play Robin in the upcoming live action Teen Titans show, and now here’s proof!
That costume looks amazing! I got this pic from DC. The idea that Robin’s colorful costume can totally work in the dark world of Batman is a hill I’m willing to die on. Let’s hope the show actually gets made and the Robin character is awesome — unlike Robin in Teen Titans Go!
This is probably the only live action Robin I’m going to get for a very long time, so I’ve got my hopes up.
