As If We Needed Honest Trailers To Tell Us What Was Wrong with Transformers 4

Turns out I’m making this a Transformers day! I honestly did not see that coming, but Honest Trailers whipped out a video for Transformers: Age of Extinction the same week I wrote up that nifty Transformers List of Six. I could not let that coincidence pass without taking full advantage. They hit all the right points. Such a silly movie and franchise.

We Get It, Godzilla Doesn’t Appear Much in the Godzilla Movie

It’s called delayed gratification, people! If the movie was just 2 hours of Godzilla fighting monsters, it would get boring within the first 5 minutes!

I really only have two sins for the new Godzilla film. 1.) How did Ken Watanabe have any clue that Godzilla was some kind of ‘protector of the Earth’ and would arrive to restore cosmic balance? Where did that hypothesis even come from? 2.) When all the main characters are together at the end prior to parachuting scene, why didn’t they have a moment where they meet up and acknowledge each other? Watanabe and the general met Ford earlier in the film, then they all end up at the same base camp in the end? That should have warranted some kind of moment!

Also, Cinema Sins does have a point on arresting Bryan Cranston. Why have the cops arrest him one day, but then on the next day, he’s delivered right to the heart of the operation, on the same day the monster hatches?

Seriously, though, I loved this movie.

Carl Cuts Loose in a Walking Dead Bad Lip Reading!

Check it. Zombies make for good back-up vocals! You can even buy that song on iTunes, they’re telling me. I’m a big fan of Bad Lip Reading. It’s just funny. And why else do we exist but to experience funny things? The Walking Dead premiers sometime next month, and I’m excited. I like the show, even if some critics don’t. It’s engaging and entertaining…just like Carl’s song!

How Amazing Spider-Man 2 Should Have Ended

This entry was apparently written by the fans, and some of the jokes are pretty funny. But at the same time…none of this is ‘how the movie should have ended’. The HISHE guys are usually pretty awesome, but they love their ‘Superman and Batman in a diner’ thing more than life itself. Give it a rest, guys. Your whole premise is pretty awesome without those scenes.

20 Minutes is a Little Excessive

Our friends at Cinema Sins have tackled Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and apparently they went all out on what was a legitimately good film. You guys are monsters!

But I know we all have 20 minutes to spare, so I hope you enjoyed their video as much as I did! As my brother once said, these are the MST3K for the short attention span Internet generation!
