How Godzilla: King of the Monsters Should Have Ended
I love a good Monday where I don’t have to do much work. I can just search the internet and save one of those fun parody videos on YouTube. Wherein people with more talent and drive than me make actual, original content.
This one is pretty funny. The other monsters laughing at Godzilla not being able to fly is the funniest this channel has been in possibly ever. Hats off to the fine folks at How It Should Have Ended!
Though at this point, does anybody even remember Godzilla: King of the Monsters? Pretty forgettable flick.

It’s a Jurassic World; We’re Just Living In It
So apparently, when those dozen or so dinosaurs were released at the end of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, it was enough to spread out and inhabit the entire world. Apparently nothing was done to stop their spread or kill them or anything. The government and the military just let them do whatever they wanted.
Which brings us to Battle at Big Rock, a short film made by Colin Trevorrow, the actual director of the Jurassic World films. One assumes this is a preview of what’s to come with the Fallen Kingdom follow-up. It’s a fun little film. You just have to suspend your disbelief on the premise.
I like it, for the most part. The family is a good group and the effects are top notch. Perhaps I even like Battle at Big Rock more than Fallen Kingdom! The next movie should star these people.
The premise of dinosaurs taking over the world is good…the idea that we reached that point from the lame ending of Fallen Kingdom is bad.

Little Monsters is Coming Early to Hulu!
Little Monsters is one of those small movies that looks really neat, and hopefully I’ll remember it exists by the time it actually comes out. A new trailer has revealed that it’s coming to Hulu on Oct. 8!
It used to be coming to theaters in the UK in November, so this is neat! Something must have happened behind the scenes to make this a Hulu Original. Here’s hoping I remember Little Monsters a month from now because it looks like fun!

Some Cool Upcoming Netflix Stuff!
Today’s my birthday and I was feeling rather lazy, but then remembered I didn’t post anything yesterday! So how about some trailers for some upcoming awesome stuff on Netflix? I’m not getting paid by Netflix to post this, I just really enjoy trailers.
Between Two Ferns: The Movie looks particularly funny.
And while I wasn’t too thrilled with the first season of Disenchantment, you best believe I’ll watch season 2. Neither The Simpsons or Futurama were perfect right out of the gate.
As for my birthday, I’m off to get my free Grand Slam meal from Denny’s. Because that’s how I choose to roll.

Jojo Rabbit Might Be My Most Anticipated Movie For the Rest of the Year
The summer is over and there are no more Marvel movies coming out this year. What’s a cinephile like me supposed to look forward to? You can keep your Jokers and your Rises of Skywalkers! Bring on Jojo Rabbit! This looks hilarious!
Taika Waititi is back to work more of his magic, this time skewering Nazis and fascism. Seems like his sort of task! Jojo Rabbit looks funny, it looks touching, it looks sharp as nails. It comes out on Oct. 18!
