This New, 5-Minute Long Aquaman Trailer Has Won Me Over
I wasn’t too keen on that first Aquaman movie trailer. The jokes were iffy and the CGI looked way too heavy-handed. But now a massive, 5-minute-long look at the film has been released from NYCC, and I’m on board!
Damn, that was cool! I am most impressed with some of those shots! Like that extended bit of Mera running on the rooftops? And the way the camera flew between alleys and then over to Arthur several blocks away? That was damn cool! All credit to director James Wan, whose work I’ve not really seen.
And the humor was a bit better this time around. It still feels a little stiff, but I liked it nonetheless.
Consider me on board for finally being interested in the Aquaman movie! Which comes out towards the end of December!

How Does Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Look This Damn Good?
There’s a new trailer for the upcoming animated Spider-Man movie, and it looks even more phenomenal than before!
That’s comedian John Mulaney as Spider-Ham, and he kills it! And Nic Cage as Spider-Man Noir! And just look at that trailer! I was skeptical about this whole thing back when it was first announced — because Spidey is in very good live action hands these days, and we don’t need a saturated market — but this looks funny and heartwarming!
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse comes out in December!

When Will We Get the Wizarding World Crossover?
Daniel Radcliffe and his Harry Potter classmates are getting up there in age. So I’m curious, will we ever get a crossover between the Harry Potter franchise and the Fantastic Beasts franchise? I don’t know what it would entail…though Newt Scamander’s grandson did go on to marry Luna Lovegood.
Crossover idea!
Oh yeah, there’s a new trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
Looks pretty good. The first film was pretty forgettable. This sequel is going to include Dumbledore and Hogwarts. Will that result in more success? We’ll find out!

X-Men: Dark Phoenix Appears to be a Remake of X-Men: The Last Stand
So we’ve got Jean Grey going crazy with her flaming Phoenix powers, and she turns to Magneto for help…
I think this trailer is just as afraid as I am to show that the Phoenix comes from outer space, and that the Shi’ar are going to show up and fight to control it. I’ve never cared for the X-Men in outer space. But I will admit this trailer looked cool, especially if X-Men: Dark Phoenix indeed the swan song of the X-Men movie franchise as we know it.

Bumblebee Likes Collecting Wayward Children
There’s a new trailer for the upcoming Bumblebee spin-off movie, and it’s clear now that Bee likes collecting wayward young people. He just bounces around, hiding in car lots until some new young person buys him as their first automobile. It’s weird.
Bumblebee the movie also features classic versions of Transformers characters, which should make some people happy. Lets focus on that instead.
