6 Places I Want to Visit Someday
It’s been a week since I got back from London, and I can say in hindsight that the trip was really fun. We went on the Harry Potter Studio Tour, checking out the sets, costumes and props from the movies. We took an open-bus tour of all the major landmarks. We ate fish & chips in a British pub. It was a hoot. It was also the first time I’ve traveled internationally (Canada doesn’t count). For this week’s List of Six, I’ve decided to share some of the other places I’d like to visit in my lifetime.
I don’t travel much. That’s partly by choice. I like where I am. I’m also largely broke, and money is usually a big part of traveling. But hey, a fella can dream, right? Isn’t that the point of owning and writing in a blog? To dream the impossible dreams and write about them? Someday I’ll be rich and handsome and will be able to travel the world. And these are the six places I want to visit!

6 Minor Marvel Characters I Want to Pop Up on the Netflix Defenders
The Marvel Cinematic Universe just keeps growing by leaps and bounds! Not only is Spider-Man on board, but Mockingbird is now a permanent addition to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Patsy Walker is going to appear in the upcoming Jessica Jones show on Netflix — which debuts in only a few days! We live in an age where a live action Beta Ray Bill is a distinct possibility.
So being the comic book geek that I am, and considering I’m still on my vacation abroad and could use an easy topic, how about we play one of my favorite games and talk about what comic book characters we’d still like to see in the MCU. Specifically, if a character like Hellcat can get a supporting role on Netflix, and if the doors are open for Punisher to star as the villain of Daredevil season 2, what other minor Marvel characters could get a cameo or a starring role on the Netflix level? The sky’s the limit now! Barring any X-Men or Fantastic Four cast members, of course. We don’t live in a perfect world yet.

The 6 Best British Superheroes
By the time you’re reading this, I’ll be on my way to Jolly Old England enjoying my first-ever international vacation! My brother and I are doing to hit all the sights, try to avoid eating blood pudding, and mostly do our best not to act like ignorant Americans — no promises! So to celebrate my trip, this week’s List of Six is all about badass British superheroes!
Comic books are still largely an American game. But even in American-led comics, British characters pop up from time to time, usually in the best of ways. Sadly, this isn’t a comprehensive list, but I’m going to do my best to tell you about some of the coolest, bestest British comic book characters!

The 6 Gnarliest Uses of Cerberus in Pop Culture
Halloween is my favorite holiday, and I like to celebrate on my blog with monster lists! I’ve done ghosts, I’ve done movie monsters, and this year we’re going to celebrate my favorite monster of all time: Cerberus, the original dog from Hell!
I was a huge fan of Greek Myths when I was a kid. I used to take this big book of Greek Myths out of the Middle School library all the time! And Cerberus, the three-headed guard dog of the Underworld, was my favorite monster. He’s just so snarly and badass! I even used to draw a Cerberus superhero, who had a normal head, then two fake dog heads on his shoulders as part of his costume. Man, I’d give anything to find some of my old middle school sketches… Anyway, for Halloween this year, I’ve put together a list of the best Cerberus cameos in pop culture!

6 More of the Best and Worst Male Superhero Halloween Costumes
I love Halloween! It’s my favorite holiday of the year! I love the pageantry, I love the costumes, I love the very idea that children walk the neighborhood collecting candy from friendly neighbors. Is there any more deliciously elaborate holiday? And who doesn’t love candy?
In the spirit of the holiday, I’m going to carry on my tradition of critiquing the best and worst superhero-themed Halloween costumes! Last year it was the women, and now we’re back to more male superhero costumes!
All of these costumes were found for sale on various Halloween costume websites. I tried not to repeat any costumes from the last list I did of male costumes. It helps that a ton of new superhero movies have come out since then! I don’t have any kind of official grading system. This list is based on what looks good, what looks accurate, as well as a few personal preferences. The point is to have the best damn Halloween costume possible!
