Star Wars: Resistance Revealed!
The next Star Wars animated series has been announced! Star Wars: Resistance will take place in the period before The Force Awakens and will focus on badass fighter pilots! Always a fun topic!
I loved The Clone Wars and Rebels was pretty darn good, so clearly the people behind these animated shows — like Dave Filoni — know what they’re doing. I’m definitely on board.
The new show will star fighter pilot Kazuda Xiono, who is recruited by the Resistance to spy on the First Order. We’ll get cameos from BB-8, Poe Dameron and Captain Phasma. That sounds pretty neat. Finn and Rey are probably way out of the loop, but eh, they get that whole first movie.
Han Solo and Chewbacca are also cruising around the galaxy during this period. So who knows what we’ll see!
Definitely looking forward to this one.

The Expanded Disney Cartoon Universe is Real…
We are on the verge of greatness, people. Nothing has been absolutely confirmed so far, but a new commercial for the DuckTales cartoon has a snippet of awesomeness hidden inside. You can spot it at the 51 second mark.

Don freakin’ Karnage! One of the villains from TaleSpin! With an appearance in the new DuckTales cartoon! How cool is that? My dreams of an Expanded Disney Cartoon Universe just took a huge step forward!
What is the Expanded Disney Cartoon Universe, you ask? It’s quite simple! With the success of the new DuckTales reboot cartoon, it seems that the creators might combine all of the classic 80s/90s-era Disney cartoons that I loved so much as a child. DuckTales! TaleSpin! Goof Troop! Darkwing Dark! Maybe even Chip’n Dale Rescue Rangers!
I’m gonna need a better name than Expanded Disney Cartoon Universe, though. It doesn’t really roll off the tongue. The Disneyverse? Disney Cartoon Universe? The DuckVerse? DuckSpin?
I’ll work on it.

The Incredibles 2 Gets an Incredible New Trailer, Too
I skipped posting this new trailer last week because I wanted to save something to post today. It’s my day off from work and I’m feeling lazy. Good thing we’ve got this awesome trailer for Incredibles 2 to bask in!
Movie looks great! Can’t wait to see it! Now back to being lazy with my day…

Only Leigh Animates What We’re All Thinking!
Only Leigh is back! And she’s got a hankering to take on all these upcoming live action Disney movie remakes.
I liked Jungle Book, didn’t care for Beauty and the Beast, and I don’t think I saw any of the others. But I am looking forward to Mulan! So at least we’ve got that going for us.
Also, Leigh is on Patreon! She needs our support to make more cartoons!

It’s More Than Half Cafe Scene and In-Jokes
OK, so, here’s the thing: I like the How It Should Have Ended cartoons. It’s an awesome premise, they’re usually hilarious and the animation and voice-acting are superb. It’s some of the best stuff on YouTube.
But they are really, really in love with themselves and their in-jokes. I have to imagine the fans love all the times they cut to Batman and Superman hanging out in a cafe, or the Villains Pub stuff. And if that’s where the money is, fine. I can’t blame anyone for that. But I’m here for the comedic alternate endings to popular movies…
I think this Justice League episode gets a little meta, but I’m not sure. Parts of it are funny. But then it cuts away from quality parody to an extended cafe bit. And then ends with an extended Villains Pub bit.
I’m just sayin’, guys! I’m just sayin’!
