3D Futurama is Glorious

Behold what the glory of the Internet has wrought!

Seriously, that’s brilliant. It’s a thing of pure beauty. The time and energy it must have taken to draw that 30 second clip is astounding! My hat goes off to Alexey Zarkharov, a Russian designer who has some more images on his website. Check them out too!

Frozen is the New Black

Only Leigh might be my favorite online animator. She’s got the adorable part down, at least!

I love Disney. I love Orange is the New Black. What’s not to love about splicing them together?

Behold Your Big Hero 6!

It’s still hard to believe that Disney is going to make an animated movie out of Big Hero 6 – but a slew of new character posters confirm everything! I know next to nothing about the comic book Big Hero 6, so I have no idea how accurate these designs are. But then comic book accuracy means absolutely nothing. All that matters is that these characters and this movie are cool.

Check them out – and join me in giggling at their names!

I bet Wasabi No-Ginger is going to be the breakout character of the year.

Hello! How ‘Bout a Fun Broadway Song!

It took the geniuses of the Internet long enough to mash-up The Book of Mormon with South Park, but the results are just as wonderful as we could have hoped.

As we all know, Trey Parker and Matt Stone are the geniuses behind both, so it was only a matter of time before someone put the two shows together. Why we don’t have a full Book of Mormon cartoon in the South Park style is anyone’s guess. I also still need to go see the show on Broadway one of these days.

This mash-up was made by Simon Chong.

The LEGO Movie Just Gets Better and Better

The LEGO Movie comes out on DVD this week, so all of you hold-outs who didn’t go see it in theaters can finally enjoy what is still the best movie of 2014! And if you get the Blu-Ray, you apparently get special LEGO short films, like History Cops, which might just be the best short video of 2014.

That this was made by the people behind The LEGO Movie is even better. I’m glad I live in a world where this sort of thing exists.

Also, The LEGO Movie is so good, I’m considering buying the DVD. It’s that good!
