Cuphead is Getting a Cartoon!
I’ve never played the Cuphead video game. It had its day a while back, but I’m not into playing punishing video games. Just not my cup of tea. But the look the game has inspired Netflix to order up a whole season of cartoon shenanigans!
I’m always looking for new things to watch, so I’ll probably give this a shot. A crazy parody of classic, early 1900s animation? I am totally down for that madness.
The Cuphead Show comes to Netflix on Feb. 18.

Centaurworld and He-Man Are Coming Back!
I am a big fan of cartoons. And we live in a day and age where there are just a metric ton of fun new cartoons coming out every day. I recently finished the first season of Inside Job on Netflix. Have you heard of that one? I’m pretty sure it flew entirely under the radar. But I watched both that and Chicago Party Aunt this fall, both of which are pretty watchable. We are surely living in a post-Rick and Morty cartoon world.
At any rate, all of this build up is to share two fun trailers for upcoming second seasons. First up is Masters of the Universe: Revelations, the follow up to that apparently controversial first season, because the internet breeds nothing but contempt. I liked the first season, and I look forward to the second.
For one thing, that trailer had an appropriate amount of Ram-Man. Season 2 arrives on Nov. 23, so basically a week from now. That’s pretty cool!
Second, we’ve got the trailer for the second season of Centaurworld, which is great, because I didn’t know it was getting a second season. Centaurworld flew so far under the radar that I was really excited about watching it…and yet I still forgot it existed for at least two months. But then I did watch it and I did enjoy it!
Centaurworld season 2 arrives on Dec. 7! So you’ve got plenty of time to watch the first season to be all caught up. We’ve got some great cartoons and shows ahead of us through the end of the year!

The Witcher Season 2 Should Be a Hoot
The second season of The Witcher is right around the corner. And it’s bound to be a good time. We all enjoyed the first season. We all enjoyed the video games. And I’m sure plenty of people have enjoyed the books. Now we can enjoy another trailer for season 2!
Like I said, it looks great!
And hey, if that trailer doesn’t do it for you, someone took the trailer and changed the music so that it’s better.
Both trailers are the same, the internet just spruced the second one up a little bit.
The Witcher season 2 arrives on Netflix on Dec. 17!

The Cowboy Bebop TV Show Looks Amazing
I have never seen the original Cowboy Bebop anime. I’m simply not much of an anime guy. But you best believe I’ll be checking out the live action adaptation coming to Netflix next month. Based on this trailer and this “Lost Scene”, this show looks like it’s going to be amazing!
I’m loving the Scott Pilgrim vs. The World aesthetic, which is readily apparent in this special little short episode.
This show looks fire. I can’t speak to it’s accuracy to the anime, nor do I care. It doesn’t matter to me in the least that live action Cowboy Bebop is accurate to original anime Cowboy Bebop. I just want a really cool show, and this looks really, really cool!
Live action Cowboy Bebop comes to Netflix on Nov. 19.

Sandman and The Witcher Get New Trailers
Netflix held some kind of event on Saturday where they showed off a bunch of new trailers for their upcoming and returning shows. Sounds neat! I’m as much a fan of Netflix shows as the next person. And I wanted to share the best two, in my opinion. Or the most exciting two.
First up is the first look at the Sandman adaptation. Neil Gaiman’s magnum opus has never before been adapted. And it looks pretty cool so far.
Next up is the second season of The Witcher.
I’m a huge fan of the Witcher games and never read the books, so the show is a bit early in Geralt’s timeline for me. But the first season was fun and everybody seemed to like it, so this second season appears to have a better budget maybe? Here’s hoping this Witcher show takes off and we get a whole series worth of content!
Sandman is coming sometime next year, and The Witcher returns on Dec. 17.
