The CW Batwoman Looks Exceptional!
Our first official look at The CW’s costumed Batwoman is here, and I think she looks great! That’s actor Ruby Rose under the cowl, and she’ll be debuting later this year in the next big crossover of The CW superhero shows.
Batwoman is also going to get her own series sometime next year, which is pretty darn cool. I’m a big Batwoman fan, and, of course, am a big fan of LGBTQ representation and diversity. I think it was a neat decision to have Batwoman show up in the Arrowverse instead of Batman. It’s a cool choice.
Of course, I stopped watching all Arrowverse shows a year or two ago. They just weren’t for me anymore. If you’re still a fan, by all means, enjoy yourself.
Though I will be checking out all this Batwoman stuff, for sure!

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 2/17/18
Oh man, Black Panther was an awesome movie! I loved it! So good! If only I was reading Black Panther comics and could review them this week! Does anybody have any opinions on the current Black Panther run by Ta-Nehisi Coates? I gave up pretty early on it, but I’ve heard it gets better in the long run, so I’m considering picking up the TPBs.
Fortunately, we’ve got some good comics here, like DetectiveComics with major developments and a hilarious Unbeatable Squirrel Girl! Comic Book of the Week goes to the new issue of Ms. Marvel for an amazing issue that finally make sense of the current storyline.
Who knew the storyline that purposefully does not include Ms. Marvel would turn out so good? I had my doubts, but here we are!
Comic Review: Detective Comics #974, Marvel Two-in-One #3, Ms. Marvel #27, Sideways #1 and Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #29.
Hench-Sized Comic Reviews – 9/23/17
Big news, everybody! This week, we have an abundance of DC Comics! I’ve been trying to read more of them lately, despite being a confirmed Marvel Zombie. And this week, the stars aligned and more of my DC comics came out than Marvel! Huzzah and kudos!
So we’ve got new Harley Quinn, new Aquaman, new Batwoman, new Wild Storm and the Comic Book of the Week, the new Batman! This whole War of Jokes and Riddles has been worth it for what writer Tom King is doing with Kite Man.
Hell yeah.
Comic Reviews: Aquaman #28, Batman #31, Batwoman #7, Harley Quinn #28, Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man #4 and The Wild Storm #7.
