The History of Tentacle Porn in One Handy Dandy Video
I got back from my first ever comic convention for Gamer Girl & Vixen last night, and I’ll share the story soon! For now, I’m unwinding from my trip on a nice Monday, and feeling kind of lazy. So that sounds like a good reason to share this wonderful Internet video on the history of tentacle porn.
Don’t worry, it’s SFW.
And it really makes you think. Thanks, Noah Sterling! Good luck making more of these!

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 5/14/16
If you’re reading this, then I am kickin’ back and having a great time at the Haverhill Public Library Comic-Con in Haverhill, Massachusetts! I’ve been to a lot of comic conventions over the years, but this is the very first time I’ll be presenting my own comic, Gamer Girl & Vixen! I’m very excited, and I hope it’s going well. I’ll do a write up on the event next week.
But for now, let’s enjoy some quality comics! Batman and Starfire both bow out of the New 52, Black Panther takes a crack at a second issue, and I dipped my toes into a few more non-superhero titles for once, with the return of Kaijumax.
The new issue of Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers wins Comic Book of the Week, because it knows what I want, and it delivers without shame. Go, Green Ranger, Go Go!
Also, in case you didn’t know, the Green Ranger is way better than the White Ranger. That’s just a fact.
Comic Reviews: Batman #52, Black Panther #2, Kaijumax #1, Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers #3 and Starfire #12.
Voltron Trailer Seeks to Reclaim My Childhood
Voltron was one of my favorite cartoons as a child…but I don’t remember anything about it. Obviously I remember the basic premise and stuff, but I can’t recall any episodes or storylines or when I watched it or what I liked about it. But hey, Netflix is bringing it back for a Voltron revival!
Looks like fun, I’ll probably watch. I’ve watched all the other attempts to revive Voltron, either via cartoon or comic book. And I’m a big fan of Netflix binging, so count me in! Hopefully they do justice to the Princess Allura storyline in the beginning. It looks like they might be trying to make it a surprise.

The First Assassin’s Creed Movie Trailer Doesn’t Look Half Bad
I have some reservations about the Assassin’s Creed movie, and they’re the same ones I have with the games: the modern day bookends are really, really stupid. The heart of the story is in the past. Why not just tell a story about the character in the past? Why add this overly convoluted extra story about a guy in the present getting plugged into a machine so that the bad guys can put him into some kind of virtual reality memory machine? Why is that necessary? It’s not like the present day storyline ever really paid off in the games.
But hey, the trailer looks pretty cool.
I like the seriousness of the trailer. Like, they’re really pushing it, and I think it definitely works for this movie. And the trailer does a good job of explaining this dumb, convoluted set-up. Here’s hoping the film is better than I give it credit for!

My 6 Ideas for the Future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe
Civil War was awesome. Doctor Strange is going to be great. We’ve got two more Avengers movies on the horizon. And Ant-Man already has a sequel lined up! The immediate future is bright with Marvel movies, and I couldn’t be happier! Some people have complaints, some worry about superhero fatigue, but I am not those people. I have loved every single one of Marvel Studios’ films, and I can’t wait to see what comes next.
As well as what comes after that!
It is theoretically possible that, some day, the Marvel Movie Machine will come to an end. Maybe superhero movies will fall out of favor. Maybe they’ll finally make a dud. Who knows? Who can tell? I don’t ever want it to happen. I’ll be seeing each and every film they put out. But the future is a far away and malleable thing, so how about some blind, fan-driven speculation?
Join me after the jump for my thoughts on the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
