LEGO Stingray to Exist!

There’s a new LEGO Marvel Superheroes game coming out soon, and I was only mildly interested in it until about 30 seconds ago. I used to be big into the original LEGO Star Wars games, but haven’t done much with LEGO Marvel games.

Until I saw that Stingray was going to be in the new game! Holy cow!

Did you catch him? He’s at 00:37 in the trailer! LEGO Stingray! Oh man oh man, I’m over the moon now!

Now Marvel just needs to make a legit Stingray mini-fig or LEGO set for me to own and love.

LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 will be out on Nov. 14. Hopefully on Steam.

6 Even More Characters That Need Action Figures (So I Can Buy Even More of Them)

I love action figures. I have a pretty nice collection, some still in the box and some out and adorning my Geek Wall in my dumb little bachelor pad. They’re fun to collect and put on display. Who needs some fancy trophy or piece of art adorning my apartment when I can show off my love of the X-Men?

And we recently received the greatest action figure news of all time: my favorite comic book character, Multiple Man, is finally getting a proper Marvel Legends figure!

ActionFigure3 01

A dream come true

This is the best action figure news of all time, no doubt about it. I’m gonna buy half a dozen of them! It’s only common sense when you’re dealing with Multiple Man! And this good news has me reviving a fun List of Six tradition: characters who don’t have action figures yet that I really, really want! A couple characters from my previous lists have figures coming out, and favorite characters I forgot to mention, like Songbird and Prowler, are also destined for my toy shelf.

But join me after the jump for six more characters that have yet to get proper action figure love!

Buncha Star Wars Stuff Happens in This New Star Wars Trailer

I think I’ve been watching too much Red Letter Media, because this new trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi has left me lukewarm. It’s a cool trailer, don’t get me wrong, with a lot of neat stuff in it…but it’s also just the regular Star Wars stuff.

Look, I love Star Wars as much as the next guy, but I dunno…nothing here really got me excited. So all the characters we know are going to be interacting again, possibly in interesting ways we didn’t expect. But then how many different ways are there to expect? And as I’ve said before, I don’t give two poops about Snoke. That guy can go suck a lemon!

I dunno. We’re so inundated with Star Wars stuff these days that a trailer featuring the same old Star Wars stuff doesn’t get me very excited, I guess. I’m still going to see the movie, obviously. Let’s not get crazy here.

The New Tick TV Show Returns in February!

The new Tick TV show is great! Have you seen it? The first handful of episodes are available now on Amazon TV and they’re pretty great! I loved them! And the good news is that the second batch of episodes will be in February!

The new Tick is a really nice update to everything we’ve seen before. It focuses on Arthur as a neurotic nobody who gets thrust into the world of superheroics alongside the mystery and strange new hero, the Tick! And with his help, Arthur might really become a hero and stop the Terror from terrorizing the world!

Also, I’m totally an Arthur/Lint ‘shipper!

Runaways Trailer Needs Some Work

I’m looking forward to the Runaways TV show. It’s a great comic and a good story premise, and everything we’ve seen so far has it out to be a solid show. It looks like they’re going to stick pretty close to the real comic.

But that trailer is pretty crummy. It’s crumpled and, I think, fails to get the basic premise across. How does that even happen? We’re living in a Golden Age of movie trailers. Marvel couldn’t get somebody to do better work on that thing?

Runaways comes out on Hulu on November 21.
