Avengers: Endgame is Here!
Avengers: Endgame arrives in theaters today and I’ve got my ticket! I’ll be showing up at least an hour in advance at my local theater to ensure I get one of the good, comfy, reclining seats. So it’s gonna be a long day, with a really rewarding end!

6 Different Avengers Teams to Use After Endgame
Avengers: Endgame will be here in only a few days and then a decade of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will reach its conclusion — but that won’t be the end of Marvel movies. Disney and Marvel would be fools to bring this gravy train to a halt. They’ve already got a lot of plans for further Black Panther and Doctor Strange movies, along with finally giving us a Black Widow film, and whatever nonsense they’re planning with the Eternals.
But where does the Avengers name brand franchise go from here? How about a spin-off!
All of their contracts are up
I have not yet seen Avengers: Endgame so I do not yet know the state of the team at the end of the film. Who’s dead? Who’s retired? Are the Avengers even still around? Do they still have that sweet compound in Upstate New York? I’ll find out in a few days! But until then, how about we wildly speculate about where the Avengers franchise could go next! Surely the brand name is too famous and popular to let lie. So how about we look back at some classic comic book spin-off Avengers teams and figure out how they could host the next billion dollar franchise!

Another Reminder that Godzilla: King of the Monsters is Coming Out
There’s a new trailer today for Godzilla: King of the Monsters. It doesn’t offer anything new, just some further looks at all the monsters. That’s pretty fun, but previous trailers already accomplished that much.
Still, this looks like a fun movie and, therefore, trailers for it are pretty fun. Comes out at the end of May.

The Definitive Ranking of the Mortal Kombat Palette-Swapped Ninjas
I’m going to say this right now to get it out of the way and establish it in stone for posterity: If I ever start a band, the band name is going to be “Palette-Swapped Ninjas”. I’ve been sitting on that one for awhile, so don’t steal it. And it’s a great lead into today’s topic: definitively ranking the palette-swapped Ninjas from Mortal Kombat. You know’em, you love’em, so let’s take a look at’em!
Mortal Kombat 11 comes out this week and features a couple of these characters. For reasons I can barely explain, I am deeply invested in the Mortal Kombat lore. I love the characters. I love the story. And I especially love every single palette-swapped ninja, no matter the crazy weird back story. As such, we’re going to have some fun ranking and discussing all of those kolorful kooks!

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 4/20/19
By this time next week, I will have seen Avengers: Endgame and all will be right in the world. I can’t wait. I’m very excited. Let’s hope I’m not too excited!
Until then, we’ve got to read some fun comics, like Guardians of the Galaxy and the final issue of West Coast Avengers! The War of the Realms also continued this week! But Comic Book of the Week goes to the big, climactic issue of Tony Stark – Iron Man for a solid, enjoyable story.
Kids are jerks
Meanwhile, my skimming of new Uncanny X-Men issues reaffirms my correct decision to drop them. More characters I like are dead. Though if my brother is reading this, he might be slightly pleased to know that the original Pyro has been stealth returned to the living…though apparently as a one-note bad guy. I’m working on a larger Pyro article, I promise.
