The Only Thing to Bring Me Back to World of Warcraft Will be Ogres
The newest expansion of World of Warcraft has been announced and ogres are not yet a playable race. I’m sure Shadowlands will be awesome, but I’m holing out for ogres.
With this new expansion, I’m about to be three expansions behind on what used to be my favorite video game. I loved World of Warcraft, and I still probably do. But it’s not a game for me anymore. I was never interested in the post-game stuff. I just want to explore the world and play a good story. But I just don’t have much interest in the overall game anymore.
I want ogres. And maybe bards.

6 Things I Want to See in the Into the Spider-Verse Sequel
It was excitingly inevitable that we would get a sequel to the Oscar-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. I really do think the animated feature is my favorite of all the many Spider-Man movies. It was just a brilliant use of the character, exploring the meaning of being a hero with verve, wit, flashy animation and pretty much perfect everything.
So what can we expect to see in a sequel to something so expansive and creative as Into the Spider-Verse? There are some obvious answers, especially considering that tease at the end of the movie. And obviously we’ll probably see all of the main characters back for another go around. But surely with the Spider-Verse foundation built, we’re going to go bigger and wilder when the movie arrives in 2022.
Join me after the jump for some ideas and characters I’d like to see in the big, hopefully bombastic sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse!
There’s Gonna Be a Fun New Ant-Man Comic!
Ant-Man is my favorite MCU superhero. He’s a great everyman with an awesome costume and a neat super power. And not only has Ant-Man 3 been confirmed, but Marvel has announced a new comic from writer Zeb Wells and artist Dylan Burnett.
The new comic will star Scott Lang and his daughter Cassie as they save the world from tiny threats. According to Marvel, a down-on-his-luck Scott takes a job helping some beekeepers and stumbles upon an international conspiracy! Sounds like a solid set up to a new Ant-Man series. I really enjoyed the last Ant-Man comic from Nick Spencer a couple years ago, and I’m excited for this new comic.
Comes out in February!

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 11/2/19
Oh what a world, what a world! I was swamped at work this week, so I didn’t have time to read too many comics. Fortunately, it was a Fifth Wednesday situation, so there weren’t many comics to worry about anyway!
Excalibur arrives to continue Dawn of X, and it’s fine. Runaways has a quiet issue that just moves the story along. And Mighty Morphin Power Rangers wins Comic Book of the Week for another exciting issue!
Meanwhile, I’ve been reading through Brian Michael Bendis’ Daredevil for the first time ever. It’s pretty good! And in comic book movie news, we have confirmation of Into the Spider-Verse 2 and Ant-Man 3! That’s pretty exciting!
Comic Reviews: Excalibur #1, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #44 and Runaways #26.
