My 6 Favorite Things of 2015
And so we bid goodbye to another year. Overall, I think 2015 was good to me. I went to England, the first time I’ve been out of the country. I had a successful Kickstarter and self-published my first comic book, Gamer Girl & Vixen. I bought a new high-end computer. I got two new winter coats. Life is pretty good, all things considered.
So let’s engage in that great Internet tradition of counting down all the best pop culture of the year!
What was my favorite movie of the year? My favorite comic book or TV show? Did I buy any good action figures this year? I know for a fact that I didn’t hear any new or interesting music in 2015, because I’m a square. But we definitely had a lot of fun stuff! From Age of Ultron to The Force Awakens, what did 2015 have in store?

So That Final Fantasy 7 Remake is Totally Happening
A trailer came out this weekend for the remake of Final Fantasy VII, something long since desired by the gaming community. It’s a pretty cool trailer.
Me, personally, I’m kind of excited. Not googily eyed excited, but I imagine I’ll play it and relive some fun memories. I played the first one back in the day, on the good old Playstation 1. Those were good times. If I remember correctly, I played it entirely with a strategy guide, step-by-step, page-by-page. I have no idea why I wanted to play it that way though. Must have been a fool.
Also, word has it that this remake will be episodic, which is weird, but then perhaps this remake is going to be too huge to be one game all at once.

Star Wars: Battlefront gameplay footage
Here you are, you mongrels. Scraps of gameplay footage from Star Wars: Battlefront, which will be released November 17. On the one hand, I’m optimistic. On the other, Electronic Arts has fallen to the dark side more than once.
World of Warcraft trailer arrives
The World of Warcraft movie is here. I always secretly hoped for a version directed by Uwe Boll, starring Ben Kingsley and Tara Reid, but I suppose it just wasn’t in the cards. We’ll have to settle for this meager display instead and wonder what might have been.
Fallout 4 Launch Trailer Arrives
The launch trailer for Fallout 4 was released today, and it is glorious. War never changes, but the world of Fallout is growing–hopefully into something beautiful.
