Bad Packaging? Or Greatest Transformers Idea Ever?
So the other day I was reading a list of 21 Terrible Knock-Off Action Figures at BuzzFeed. Pretty typical stuff. But then I saw this one the list:
The Titanic…as a Transformer! I know it’s a knock-off toy, but it’s a brilliant idea! Why haven’t they done this as a legitimate Transformers idea before? Take some of the greatest vehicles in history, and retroactively say that they were Transformers! The Titanic, the First Model T, the Lusitania, the Wright Bros. plane, anything! Everything!
Or better yet, let me write the story! Who has the Transformers comic book license these days? Somebody get them on the phone for me, we have to talk business!
A Hobbit Halloween is Spooktacular
I’m sorry, but there are no puns in the world that would do this video justice, so I went with the easiest one.
The above video was made by the Brotherhood Workshop, who also made the Cranky Cavetroll video. How do we make it so that this team only ever makes humorous LEGO videos from now on? I want a steady stream of these awesome videos for the rest of my life, and definitely to include more than just the Lord of the Rings LEGOs. OK, guys? Make it happen. This stuff is amazing.
Warcraft Mega Bloks Get Their Own Commercial!
World of Warcraft Mega Bloks (LEGO knock-offs) are out and on the stands, and if I were a rich man, I’d own as many as I could. Even though Mega Bloks are far inferior to LEGOs. We all know it, I’m just saying it. Still, I rather like the mix’n’match armor.
I did buy one of the WoW Mega Bloks sets, the single orc warrior figurine. I’m a sucker for orcs, especially Warcraft orcs, so I definitely wanted to get that one. The little figurines are neat, and even come with weapons. Though personally, I kind of want to buy one of the other figurines to give my new orc armor, that way he’d better match my Orc Shaman Tannenbaum, who finally, at long last, leveled up high enough for Northrend the other day. Just sayin’…
The Greatest, Most Intense Car Chase Ever!
You may or may not be aware of Freddie Wong, but man, you should be. He and his team make some of the best, most entertaining videos on the Internet, most of them about video games and other stuff we like. I believe the above video is some kind of ad for the next Need for Speed game. Even if it’s not, that’s just pure fun oozing from that video. And what better way to start a Monday morning than with some pure fun?
Who Needs a Live Action Justice League Movie
When we can have one made out of LEGOs instead!
Despite the mouthful title of LEGO Batman The Movie: DC Heroes Unite, this is going to be a full length LEGO Batman movie, based off the recent video game (which I sadly have not played). It’s going to star Batman and Robin teaming up with the entire Justice League to take on the Joker and Lex Luthor!
So why even bother with a live action Justice League movie? There’s no way it’ll be as good as this. Heck, why bother with traditional animation anymore? All future superhero movies should be made out of Lego.
