Exploding Kittens Cartoon Incoming
I’ve been a longtime fan of The Oatmeal comics. The dude is funny and he makes great products. So I will probably check out his upcoming Netflix cartoon, Exploding Kittens. It could be fun!
I’m pretty sure I’ve played the Exploding Kittens card game he invented and produced, and I’m not sure if it resembles this cartoon at all. But the humor seems alright and I’m always open for new cartoons. I just finished Hazbin Hotel, which lives up to all the hype its generating. And this reminds me that I need to maybe watch Nathan Pyle’s Strange Planet cartoon. There are too many shows to watch! I can’t keep track!
Anyway, Exploding Kittens comes to Netflix in July.

Star Wars: The Acolyte Looks Nifty Keen
On May the Fourth, we got a new trailer for Star Wars: The Acolyte, the upcoming Jedi show set during the High Republic Era. As foolish as it may be, I’m still optimistic for new Star Wars content. Sometimes it’s amazing, like Andor, and sometimes it’s trash, like Tales of the Empire from this past weekend. But I am not a discerning fan. I’ll watch whatever.
I think it looks alright. We have a lot of content with Jedi, but we don’t have a lot of content with a whole order of Jedi. What’s that going to be like? I think it should be fun to look at a world where Jedi are at the height of their power. And this one is something of a murder mystery as well, even though the trailer pretty much gives away the killer’s identity right away, so…no mystery?
Still, we’ll find out exactly what Acolyte is like when it comes to Disney+ on June 4, which will be here sooner than we realize.

New Season of The Boys is Gonna Be Gnarly
The Boys is a pretty great show. I enjoyed the comic, but the show has definitely deviated a ton from the comics and is its own thing. And that thing is hugely entertaining! We got a trailer yesterday for the upcoming fourth season!
I don’t remember if the fourth season will be the last or not…probably not? But it looks awesome, looks to be more goodness, and the students from Gen V are mixed in there as well. That should be a hoot! The whole thing should be a ton of fun to watch and I can’t wait.
Oh, also, happy Star Wars Day! I don’t have anything Star Warsy to share…definitely gonna watch Tales of the Sith this weekend.
The Boys new season comes to Amazon Prime on June 13.

A Reminder That Sweet Tooth is a Show, and It’s Good
There are so many TV shows to watch these days that I lose track and forget a few of them. And nobody talks about the smaller shows, so they come and go and I miss them. I was two months late to the second season of that new Masters of the Universe cartoon and it was awesome! I almost missed the second season of Velma!
Fortunately, I do randomly catch the occasional trailer, like this one for the third and final season of Sweet Tooth. I really enjoy this show, though I forget it exists when I’m not actively watching it.
Sweet Tooth is a great show! As I understand, it’s very different from the comic, but only because it’s sweeter and nicer than the apparently gruesome comic. This is a fun show with fun characters, and I’m definitely looking forward to season 3.
Too bad it doesn’t come to Netflix until June 6, so I’ll probably forget it exists.

6 Thoughts on the First Season of Fallout
Like many people, I had my doubts about a Fallout TV show. Video game adaptations have a bad reputation, even though I still have faith in most of them. And I love Fallout as much as the next gamer. So could they pull it off? Could they make it work? Apparently, they can knock it out of the goddam park!
TV Show Rating: 9/10 – Great
I was a little worried after seeing the first teaser trailer for the Fallout show, but the second trailer was awesome and I was fully on board. I don’t think Amazon Prime should have released the whole show in one day, I think Fallout could have benefited from a weekly release, but those choices aren’t mine to make. I managed to finally watch all the episodes this week so it’s now review time!
