Brace Yourself, Game of Thrones Season 4 is Coming
That is one juicy sweet trailer, but man oh man, it goes by too fast to really sink my teeth into anything! All of it looks exciting. The show returns on April 6. Prepare yourselves!
It’s Like All 30 Years of My Life Coming to Fruition
Simpsons LEGOS. It’s beautiful. They should have sent a poet.
I want to start a Kickstarter campaign just to raise the money to purchase this. I can do that, right? Isn’t that what Kickstarter is for? Or maybe I’ll raise the funds to write a poem about this set. My God. Not only is it the house, but it opens up! And there’s a working garage, with the pink car, and mini-figs of all five family members, plus Flanderses! Oh man, oh man, I’m salivating over here. LEGO Simpsons is probably something I’ve been waiting my entire life to own.
6 Pop Culture Resolutions for 2014
I may as well say that my New Year’s resolutions for 2014 are to lose weight and save money, but I’ve kind of been making those same resolutions for the past 30 years, and they haven’t come true yet! So how about we veer wildly off course and talk about something much more fun: pop culture!
No, I’m not resolving to play fewer video games or watch less TV. Don’t be crazy.
Instead, I’ve whipped up a list of 6 pop culture things I want to see in 2014. We already know what movies, TV shows and more are coming out, and I resolve to drown myself in all of them. But we don’t know how good or bad they’re going to be, or what surprises might be in store. So let’s get our hopeful wishing hats on, and predict the 6 pop culture resolutions we want to see in 2014!
And yes, I realize these are more like ‘wishes’ than ‘resolutions’, but New Year is all about the resolutions. Cut me some slack, I had a cold this week. Join me after the jump!
The Sherlock Prologue We All Wanted for Christmas
New episodes of the hit BBC show start on Jan. 1! It’s been years since the last episodes of Sherlock, so I, for one, am very excited. It helps that this prologue is entitled ‘Many Happy Returns’.
How did Sherlock cheat death? What’s he going to do now that Moriarty is gone? Will the show still be awesome?
Sherlock has always had such an odd style. Three episodes, each about an hour and a half long, appear almost back-to-back in January and then disappear for at least a year. Who runs a TV show like that?
The Fields of Trenzalore are Almost Upon Us!
Here’s another trailer for the upcoming Doctor Who Christmas special, which will also be actor Matt Smith’s last episode!
These trailers are looking good. Hopefully the episode makes up for the Smith’s lousy final season. As much as I’ll miss the guy, I can’t wait for Peter Capaldi! Who’s with me?
