The New She-Ra Looks Pretty Good!
I don’t remember if I ever watched the She-Ra cartoon back in the 1980s, and I watched a lot of cartoons in the 80s. I definitely watched He-Man. I also watch a lot of cartoons these days, and the new She-Ra and the Princesses of Power looks pretty good to me!
We’re in an odd place right now. There are a lot of awesome cartoons, like Steven Universe, Adventure Time and more…but some of those are ending. We’ll need new cartoons. And so many of those cartoons appear to be reboots all of a sudden, instead of original ideas.
We have the DuckTales reboot, the Voltron reboot, then there’s that Thundercats reboot, now here’s a She-Ra reboot and there’s even been an announcement of a Care Bears reboot. So much for original cartoon ideas. I hope I live long enough for the Steven Universe reboot.

Let’s Celebrate My Birthday With Some BoJack Horseman!
Happy Birthday to me! And what better way to celebrate than with the trailer for the new season of my favorite show, BoJack Horseman! Season 5 starts later this month!
Don’t worry about getting me anything for my birthday. The number of things I’ve written off in the past few months as a ‘birthday gift to myself’ would make you shake your head in shame at my poor money management skills. No worries, I’m likely having a blast today.

I Will Remain Hopeful About Iron Fist Season 2
Iron Fist season 2 comes out the week of my birthday, so I’m assuming it’s Netflix’s gift to me. I was fine with season 1 and didn’t dislike it to the extent most people did, so I remain somewhat hopeful about season 2. I have also been largely disappointed in most of the Netflix Defenders shows at this point, but i remain somewhat hopeful about season 2.
All of this looks fine. Davos should make for a good villain, especially if they go full Steel Serpent with the guy. And the fight scenes are supposed to be improved.
Why they haven’t gone full Tournament of Heaven with this Iron Fist series is beyond me. Brubaker and Faction gave you a perfect Iron Fist story! Make it!

Have You Heard of Infinity Train?
I hadn’t heard of Infinity Train until Comic-Con this past weekend, when it got a new teaser. But apparently, it’s been around since at least late 2016, when a pilot short was hosted online through Cartoon Network. I don’t know how I missed this, but watch the whole thing, it is hilarious and just plain cool as heck!
Infinity Train is from Owen Dennis, who worked on Regular Show, which I’ve never seen. It’s about a girl, Tulip, stuck on a mystical train, where each car is something new and wild.
Here’s the new teaser from Comic-Con this past weekend.
Cartoon Network has promised a full show to come out some time next year! Consider yourself all on notice to watch it! Get hyped!
