They always say that true genius isn’t recognized in its time. Though I’m pretty sure that everybody knows that the late Mr. Rogers is awesome, PBS has apparently come up with an awesome new Mr. Rogers remix. He could live on as Youtube greatness!
The Magikarp Sea Shanty
Pokemon is a ripe topic for parody, and will so forever be. Which brings me to The Magikarp Song: A Pokemon Shanty by Random Encounters. It’s a catchy tune about a fisherman who just wants to capture a Pikachu. For those who don’t understand, Magikarp is a fish pokemon that basically just flops around and splashes in puddles. That’s the joke. But you’re not here for the comedy, you’re here for the shanties!
Hitman: Killer of Badass Hit-Nuns
The great Tobuscus returns with another literal trailer, this time set to Hitman Absolution. I haven’t seen the real trailer, but I don’t need to, not after seeing Tobuscus’ latest masterpiece. He’s quickly becoming one of my all-time favorite Internet acts!
Aliens: The Musical
The geniuses at Legolambs have done it again! They’ve written a brilliant rock opera for a classic 80s action movie! This one may not star Arnold Schwarzenegger, but it’s nonetheless amazing. Enjoy!

Ostensibly, this is a funny video with drawings of the Avengers over the dancers in Lady Gaga’s music video for ‘Bad Romance’. However, I first watched this at work – and saw the gif – without sound. After listening to the music on my lunch break, I can definitely assure you that the video is 10 times better on mute when it’s just the silly figures dancing!
