The New Monster Mash
I hope everybody’s getting into the Halloween spirit! It’s my favorite holiday! And major props to the fine folks at Barely Political for having some fun for us today!

Let’s Start Our Week With Some Batman
Some hyper-talented piano-playing blokes decided to do a medley of various Batman theme songs. When you’re trying to sell your record, adding Batman songs is a surefire way to go viral.
Sweet song, but it could have been longer and more badass. But hey, at least The Piano Guys tried. That’s more than I ever did with Batman music. But then those themes wouldn’t sound very good on the trombone, which I haven’t played since…high school, maybe? Good old, loyal trombone.
My Blog Doesn’t Feature Enough Cheerful Pop Music About Anthropomorphic Pony Girls
That changes today!
I hope all of you are as excited about the new movie My Little Pony: Equestria Girls – Rainbow Rocks as I am! I mean, when you’ve already got a pretty solid cartoon about ponies, what better way to expand the brand then by introducing an alternate reality where all of the ponies have human versions? Even Derpy! Rainbow Rocks comes out on the 27th!
Also, in even funner pony news, my cousin named his son Dash (short for Dashell). As a proper geek, I knew this would mean he might like Dash Parr from The Incredibles. And that’s all well and good…but man, if I can somehow get that kid to love Rainbow Dash instead, my life will be in some ways complete.
Now You’re All Going to Have This Song Stuck in Your Heads All Day
But it will be so worth it.
If you’ve been reading long enough, you know I’m a fan of all things adorable and musical, and that I was properly raised on 80s cartoons. So this video is my kind of video. I hope it’s yours too. Thanks Oh My Disney.
The Quieter Moments of Marvel
I mostly just love this video for the song – ‘Stay Alive’ by Jose Gonzalez. Someday I’ll have to share with you fine people how I mostly get my music from TV shows, movie trailers or commercials. There are so many songs on my playlist that came from the TV shows Scrubs and Chuck…At any rate, let’s give Gen Kim a hand for making this brilliant bit of fan love.
