Ant-Man Tease Just for the Fun of it
Edgar Wright has started working on the Ant-Man movie, and thanks to the magic of Twitter, he’s decided to grace us all with a bit of a sneak peek.
I’m fairly certain that this isn’t an actual picture from the set, but is instead a scene from that brief bit of footage they showed at Comic-Con. We still haven’t seen a fully realized, officially released version of that yet, but we have seen a bit of it online, and I definitely liked what I saw. And I definitely like seeing this picture here. It’s Ant-Man! It’s finally happening!
Hobbit 2: The Desolation of Smaug Still Looks Awesome
New Hobbit sequel trailer for our viewing pleasure!
Yep, pretty damn awesome trailer. Exciting character moments, thrilling music, a few plot details, and the usual epic LOTR charm thrown in for good measure. Say what you will about Peter Jackson’s opuses, but they have always had good trailers. I’m very excited for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, no matter how many times they use the word ‘the’ in the title.
And that dragon sounds pretty awesome.
The Running Man: The Musical
It’s been a long time since I featured a legolambs musical. What’s wrong with me?
I love it! These guys, John and Al Kaplan, are musical geniuses! They produce some of my favorite Internet tunes. Their Conan the Barbarian: The Musical is not to be missed.
Monty Python and the Holy Grail is Serious Business
I love trailer mash-ups. And this serious take on Monty Python and the Holy Grail is made by Stephane Bouley, or at least he’s the one who posted it to Youtube. Funny stuff. Very funny stuff.
Pick on Riddick Day
The Riddick movies are an odd franchise. I’m fairly certain they are propelled solely by the will of Vin Diesel, possibly also by the wallet of Vin Diesel. Are there any hardcore Riddick fans out there? Or does he just desperately want a franchise/character to call his own?
He must be doing something right, because I believe Riddick was #1 at the box office this weekend. So that means it’s the perfect time for Cinema Sins to mock both previous movies!
Pitch Black:
Chronicles of Riddick:
And a good time was had by all. I’ve got nothing against Vin Diesel. I rather like the guy. Plus he’s a huge geek, and that’s always a plus in my book. What’s also a plus? Iron Giant.
