First Sneaky Look at Movie Shocker!
I don’t normally like to set photos from movies still in production, because part of me feels like it ruins the magic. But this one is pretty awesome, because it’s our first look at the costume of the Shocker in the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming movie! It’s a very homemade sort of look, but it fits the character’s color scheme at least, which is cool. Word has it that actor Bokeem Woodbine is playing the role.
Word also has it that this is just Shocker’s first costume, and that maybe he gets an upgrade later. Sounds good to me. The Shocker is one of my favorite Spider-Man villains, and I am very excited to see him in the movie. He’s perfect for a minor role, to give Spidey more bad guys to punch without overloading the movie with villains.

Weird Trailers Could Be a Thing!
So apparently this guy Aldo Jones takes movie trailers and Photoshops the heck out of them! Or whatever the program is that allows him to completely alter video and add wackiness. You tell me. But here’s Jones taking a hilarious crack at the Justice League trailer.
That altered trailer is sufficiently wacky. And he’s got a whole bunch of Weird Trailers to enjoy and waste the day with! Sounds good to me.

Speaking of Batman Movies…
I haven’t seen Batman: The Killing Joke yet, and I don’t think I will. I haven’t been a fan of the DC animated movies for awhile now, and this one just sounds terrible. Thankfully, Honest Trailers sums it up for me nicely.
Honestly, I don’t even know if I’ve read The Killing Joke comic…

Deathstroke as the Batman Villain? Sure!
The big news that dropped yesterday was Ben Affleck teasing some test footage of Deathstroke the Terminator, with some people confirming that he will be the villain in the upcoming solo Batman movie. He may even make an appearance in the Justice League flick.
I am totally cool with this. Here’s a villain that Batman can actually fight hand-to-hand, and based on what we saw in Batman v. Superman, that’s hopefully going to be a priority. No more of this movie Batman who is too stiff in his suit to actually get into fisticuffs. Ben Affleck’s Batman is gonna kick butt from dusk until dawn, and Deathstroke is perfect for that role. Bring it on!

What Thor Did On His Civil War Vacation
I’ve been waiting for this comedy short to be posted since we first heard about it at San Diego Comic-Con! The director of Thor: Ragnarok has produced a little short about what Thor is up to during the events of Captain America: Civil War. Why didn’t he get involved? Why didn’t Tony or Steve give him a call? Watch and find out!
Hilarious. Definitely lived up to the hype. If this is the sort of quality and potential comedy we can expect in Ragnarok, I’m even more excited than ever! And I love that Marvel is open to doing things like this. It just enlivens the whole experience. Plus, they might as well use the actors for everything they can while the contracts still hold.
