6 Things I Want to See in an Open World Star Wars Video Game
Word hit the internet last week that a revived Lucasfilm Games will be teaming with Ubisoft to make an open world Star Wars video game. Considering those are my absolute favorite type of video game, I’m pretty thrilled at the news. We don’t know anything about the game at this point — which means I’m completely free to speculate on what I’d like in the game!
I’m a fan of Ubisoft games like the Assassin’s Creed series, and I’m currently playing Watch Dogs Legion. I’m not so deep into video game culture as to have opinions on developers or really even dislike anybody. I find games to play and I play them. And if they’re Star Wars games and they’re open world games, you best believe I’m going to play it and hopefully love it! And considering my vast and varied knowledge of all things Star Wars, I’ve got plenty of ideas for what I’d want to see in the game. Let’s put Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order in our rear view mirrors and take hold of a bold new open world franchise!
Join me after the jump for six things I personally would love to see in an open world Star Wars video game! And feel free to share some of your own hopes and Star Wars video game dreams in the comments!

My time with Cyberpunk 2077 is probably coming to an end this week. I’ve played for nearly a solid month and have really enjoyed my time. Somehow I really lucked out and the game has been running fine on my Playstation 4 Slim. I haven’t crashed since the first few days of gameplay and everything works and looks great! It’s not the be-all, end-all RPG I was hoping for…but that’s the point of this list!
I won’t be doing a review of the game because my experience has been really different from most people’s. But if I were, I’d rate Cyberpunk 2077 an 8 or a 9 out of 10. I’ve had that much fun! But the game doesn’t offer nearly enough diversity or variation to warrant more than one complete playthrough, at least not for me. There’s promise of future DLCs and possible fixes, so I think I’ll keep my hopes up a little bit. And perhaps if CD Projekt Red adds some of the items on this list, I might come back. But as I’m writing this, I’m just finishing up a few last bits and pieces before starting the final mission, and then I’ll lay down my controller and move on to something else.
So while I’m still interested in Cyberpunk 2077, how about a list of things I’d like to see added to the game in the future. Join me after the jump!

Welp, Wonder Woman 1984 has arrived and it has landed with a big, dull thud. Reviewers and superhero movie fans across this great internet are ripping the sequel to shreds, and I don’t necessarily think they’re wrong. I watched Wonder Woman 1984 on HBO Max and…it was fine. I didn’t hate it, I didn’t think it was terrible, but I can’t say I particularly cared much for it.
Movie Rating: 5/10 – Alright
I enjoyed the first Wonder Woman movie well enough. And I’ve liked most of DC’s movie output since then, especially Aquaman and Shazam. But Wonder Woman 1984 is a real callback to the age of cheesy or bad superhero movies. I’ve seen a lot of people compare it to the Christopher Reeves Superman movies, or the original Wonder Woman TV show, but I don’t know enough about either to make that comparison. For me, this is more along the lines of Spider-Man 3, too full of stuff that just comes along and doesn’t work well together.

What is there possibly left to say about 2020? This was a dumpster fire of a year for pretty much everybody, and the last person who should be commenting on it is me. I’m safe to say that I’m healthy and fine. I made it through this horrible year pretty well. So let’s wrap it up with my favorite movies, TV shows and comics from the year!

It’s the least we can do. I’ve done this for the past several years, and we might as well do it now. Because as someone who spent most of the year locked down at home, working from home, I definitely blasted through a lot of media. So much so, that I split television shows into two categories this year, just so I could talk about different shows in different contexts. This was also a year without any Marvel movies, which are usually my favorite in any given year, let alone major movie releases to begin with!
This was a crazy year, but there was still good stuff out there in the world! Granted, I didn’t see, read or play all of it…but I experienced enough! So join me after the jump for my favorite media from 2020!

Merry Christmas week, everybody! This year we received the greatest present of all time: the announcement, at long last, of the Boba Fett TV series! A Boba Fett movie has been in the works for as long as Disney has owned Stat Wars. But after false starts and failed projects, we finally have the official announcement of The Book of Boba Fett for next December!
Once upon a time, I used to do Christmas-themed lists the week of Christmas. I did one about snowmen, one about reindeer, one about Santa in comics…but I ran out of Christmas things to make lists about. So now I feel like doing a nice, simple list where I talk about all the exciting things I want to see in the Boba Fett TV show! That sounds like a fun Christmas activity. And a year from now, when the show kicks off, we can all look back on this list to see if I got anything right!
I am not ashamed of blatant fan service, especially not when it comes to my personal Lists of Six about Star Wars things. And I promise not to put Wraith Squadron on this one. So join me after the jump for my hopes and dreams for The Book of Boba Fett!
