There’s Going to be More Adventure Time, Apparently!
Adventure Time was an amazing show with an even more amazing series finale! I finally got around to watching the end only a couple months ago, and it was phenomenal! But, apparently, that’s not going to be the end, because the new HBO streaming service needs content! So there’s going to be a BMO TV movie!
Looks like fun! Seems to have the same spirit as Adventure Time, especially BMO, who everybody loves! And perhaps this will lead to more Distant Lands TV movies down the line. I have no problem with Adventure Time stories continuing. If they have good ideas and can put good work behind it, I say bring it on!

Go for Papa Palpatine!
The cool dude behind Tell It Animated has tackled Emperor Palpatine for Star Wars Day, and I should have posted this yesterday! It’s another fun dive into the looks of one of Hollywood’s greatest villains!
I’ve never been much of a fan of Sidious, but I have grown increasingly curious about his early years. I guess there might be a novel or two out there that covers it. I would love to learn more about what he was like as a younger man. He seems pretty normal in The Phantom Menace. How did his Sith mentor find him before the Jedi’s regular Force-sensitive child searches? How did he take to Sith training to get where he is? Was he always into politics or did he get into them because his boss told him too? I think it would be really interesting!
Anyway, another great job by Tell It Animated!

I Am Ready for the End of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power
I am as surprised as the next person at how much I love She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. But it is a damn good show, one of my absolute favorites on all of Netflix. I am in love with how well-crafted, how well-adapted this show has been these past few years, with some truly glorious cartoon adventures.
The fifth and final season will be upon us in only a matter of days.
Oh man, that was a fun trailer! I loved the slow, somber remix of the theme song. I loved the anguish in the characters. This is gonna be a battle! This is gonna be a good finale! I have very high hopes!
The final season of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power arrives on May 15!

Sonic the Hedgehog Doing a Thing
So I’ve been pretty lost in the drudgery of self-isolation these days. I wake up, work from home for a couple hours, nap on the couch watching YouTube in the afternoon, maybe play a boring video game, watch a show. It’s weird. But I like the idea of still posting on this blog and sharing fun content from around the internet. So here’s How It Should Have Ended: Sonic the Hedgehog.
Fun stuff. These people know what they’re doing and they do it well. I hope quarantine is going well for all these cartoon internet creators. Though they’ve got to be on the verge of running out of new movies to parody…so they’ll probably just go back and find old movies they’ve never done before. There will be no end to the movies to parody!

There’s a New Pendleton Ward Cartoon Called The Midnight Gospel!
Pendleton Ward is the genius creator behind Adventure Time, so he’s got a good reputation for quality cartoons, as far as I’m concerned. Little did I know, he has a new series out on Netflix called The Midnight Gospel! It came out yesterday!
I was vaguely aware of The Midnight Gospel, but I hadn’t explored the show because it looked a little too weird to me. It still looks too weird for my tastes. I’m not one for trippy, dream-sequence television. But Pendleton Ward has more than earned my trust when it comes to making shows that matter, so I’mma gonna check it out and see if it’s any good! I suggest you do the same.
