More Power Rangers Trailers Are a Good Thing
It’s entirely possible that the Power Rangers movie will be this year’s Warcraft, a hugely ambition attempt to recapture the magic of my youth that turns out to be a bad movie. I am prepared for this outcome. And until we know for sure, enjoy this cool new trailer!
I don’t know what’s going to happen. But as long as there are enough references to the Green Ranger in the sequel, I’ll probably be happy.

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 2/18/17
By the time you’re reading this, I’ll be manning my own table at the Fingerlakes Comic-Con in my hometown of Auburn, NY! It’s a 3-day event and I’ll be there all three days promoting my own comic, Gamer Girl & Vixen! There will be some big GG&V news coming soon, but for now, I’m spreading the good word at a hopefully awesome convention!
As for the rest of comics this week, it was another good one! We’ve got Harley Quinn, we’ve got U.S.Avengers and we’ve got Power Rangers, among others! Comic Book of the Week goes to the new issue of Patsy Walker a.k.a. Hellcat! Because it’s just adorable and funny, that’s why.

A pretty solid summation of the entire comic
This week in comics I read but didn’t review, I’m taking a slight break from The Mighty Thor. It was still a fun issue — because Jason Aaron is great on the title — but it further solidifies my belief that this Asgard/Shi’ar War is a weird waste of time. We’ll get back to Mighty Thor when that wraps up. And I really enjoyed the new issue of Nightwing, until writer Tim Seeley teased a possible fridging! I’m going to give Seeley the benefit of the doubt and see what the next issue holds, but for now, he’s on notice!
Comic Reviews: Harley Quinn #14, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #12, Patsy Walker a.k.a. Hellcat #15, U.S.Avengers #3 and The Wild Storm #1.
Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 1/21/17
In my efforts to avoid the dark days that have befallen America, I’d like to focus on comic books today! It’s what I do every Saturday, but we could really, really use some heroic superheroes right now. Fortunately for us, we’ve got a nice smattering of comics.
Some are really good, like Nightwing, U.S. Avengers and more, while others are just OK, like Harley Quinn, Iron Man and a new Captain Marvel debut. And some are just a ton of fun, like this week’s Comic Book of the Week, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #11!
Check out the Power Rangers trapped in an alternate, dark reality!
Meanwhile, The Clone Conspiracy finally gets good as writer Dan Slott delivers some actually, worthwhile character-based drama. Any Spider-Man story can instantly be made better by focusing on Otto and Anna Maria. Though this is also the issue where Ben Reilly goes full villain, so there’s that, too.
Comic Reviews: Harley Quinn #12, Invincible Iron Man #3, Mighty Captain Marvel #1, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #11, Mosaic #4, Nightwing #13 and U.S. Avengers #2.
The Power Rangers Trailer We’ve Been Waiting For!
Remember that first trailer for the Power Rangers movie, which seemed more like a reboot of The Breakfast Club? Yeah, forget all that stuff. It’s time to see the real, full, crazy movie!
This has got everything! Morphing! Zords! Monsters! Jokes! Putties! Craziness! Zordon! Alpha! This really does look like the freakin’ Power Rangers! This is crazy, crazy stuff, and I’m more excited than ever about this movie!

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 12/3/16
I come to you people more the worse for wear. I got some crummy medical news the other day about some inner ear/balance problems that I kind of just need to suck up and deal with. Ugh. It’s just generally crummy. So forgive me for any noticeable typos or bad attitudes.
Fortunately, not many comics came out this week, considering it was a fifth week in November. So we’ve only got a couple comics, from the new debut of Ghost Rider to the next exciting Power Rangers issue! The latter easily wins Comic Book of the Week for more out-of-the-box ideas!
Ms. Marvel also came out with a new issue this week, but it quickly morphed into a big election PSA. Like, I had to go back and check the cover to make sure this wasn’t some kind of free handout. It gets really in depth about the ins and outs of voting…even though Election Day was several weeks ago. Not quite sure what was going on there, and it was a little too hopeful about the election to actually review.
Comic Reviews: Ghost Rider #1, Great Lakes Avengers #2 and Mighty Mophin Power Rangers #9.
