The Boys Season 3 is Gonna Be Lit

I said it and I’m not gonna take it back. I’m unstoppable. But yeah, that’s my way of introducing this full trailer for the third season of The Boys on Amazon Prime. It looks great!

The Boys is a super fun show, as it was a super fun comic. They recently had that Diabolical cartoon series, which was a lot of fun and you should definitely watch. And you should definitely watch season 3, because, as I’ve heard, it’s gonna be lit.

The Boys returns on June 3!

The Boys Are Coming Back to Town!

That’s how those lyrics go, right? Anyway, I’m back from my trip, my sister had a lovely wedding, and now I have to go back to work. Ugh. But before that, let’s enjoy the first teaser trailer for the third season of The Boys!

Loved the comic, love this show, and The Boys only promises to get crazier and more fun as we go forward. This is a great trailer, showing just some major insanity without the need for even a shred of dialogue. Perfect!

Also, I still need to watch Diabolical…

Season 3 of The Boys arrives on June 3!

The Boys Presents: Diabolical Is Available Now!

The third season of The Boys is still a couple of months away, so the showrunners and Amazon decided to fill that time with a crazy, violent, anthology cartoon series called The Boys Presents: Diabolical. Here’s the trailer.

I think I heard in an interview that this is supposed to be like the Animatrix. It’s a bunch of shorts that further flesh out the world of The Boys, and all the violent and crude superhero stuff that happens. I haven’t seen it yet, because I’m posting this in the morning and need to get to work. But it’s definitely on my slate for this weekend!

A Big Pile of Movie Reviews

I love movie reviews! They’re fun, they’re short and they’re easy to share. And over the past few days, a whole pile of new movie reviews arrived and I’m going to share them all at once. Because that is the best strategy.

First up is Werewolves Within, the new werewolf thriller comedy!

This one looks pretty darn funny! It starts Sam Richardson, who is everywhere these days, and Milana Vayntrub, who was going to be the live action Squirrel Girl at one point! So this looks killer. Werewolves Within arrives in theaters on June 25.

Next up is Last Night in Soho, the new Edgar Wright film!

Edgar Wright doing dark and suspense? Sounds doable! I’m a huge Edgar Wright fan, though I’ll admit that I didn’t really like Baby Driver all that much. That’s on me. Last Night in Soho stars Thomasin MacKenzie, who was also in Jo Jo Rabbit, so that’s neat! Plus Ana Taylor-Joy, Matt Smith from Doctor Who and Jessie Mei Li, who I recently saw starring in Shadow and Bone on Netflix. Neat cast! Last Night in Soho comes out in October.

Then we have a trailer for Gunpowder Milkshake, a movie I didn’t really know existed. Seems to be a lady version of John Wick, to an extent.

And it looks great to me! Who doesn’t love Karen Gillen? Plus Lena Headey and Chloe Coleman, the little girl from My Spy? I love the whole cast, from the looks of it, and I love me some action. The title is also pretty fun. Gunpowder Milkshake will come out on July 14.

Next, brand new just this morning, is a trailer for Jungle Cruise! It’s that Disney ride film starring the Rock and Emily Blunt that was supposed to come out last year.

And it still looks fun. An action film set on a boat in a jungle starring the Rock? Seems simple enough. I’m in. Jungle Cruise comes out on July 30.

Lastly we have a new Chris Pratt action film The Tomorrow War.

This looks to be a solid, enjoyable Chris Pratt action film! This might be one of those movies that has too many plot holes, or twists that we can already predict, but we’ll have to watch it to find out! The Tomorrow War comes to Amazon Prime on July 2.

And those are the movies that put out new trailers this week. Fun for us all.

Can I Offer You a Full-Sized Invincible Trailer in These Trying Times?

There’s going to be an Invincible cartoon, based on Robert Kirkman’s popular comic book series! We knew that already, but now we’ve got a full-sized trailer! And a premiere date!

Looks great! I’m about a third of the way through reading Invincible, and it’s really good. I splurged on all three mega compendiums last summer and need to start the second one. Invincible is good stuff. It’s really just a big, fun, casually-paced superhero tale with a ton of characters and a ton of world-building. The cartoon is barely going to scratch the surface of the beginning of the story, but hopefully it gets as many seasons as The Walking Dead!

Invincible arrives on Amazon Prime Video on March 26.
