Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is On It’s Way
We knew we were getting another Ghostbusters movie, but I had no idea it was this far along. Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire came out with a full-on trailer yesterday, showing off all the returning characters and the new, chilly threat. Looks neat.
I enjoyed Ghostbusters: Afterlife as much as the next person, though probably not as much as other people. It was solid. Turning this into a full on franchise is something that can’t be avoided at this point, so I’m not going to fight it. I like Paul Rudd, I like Carrie Coon, Mckenna Grace was a really fun new character in the last film, and it looks like Patton Oswalt and Kumail Nanjiani are joining the fun. So yeah, I’m all in to see how this next sequel pans out.
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire comes to theaters on March 29.

6 Things I Want to See in a Spider-Man Video Game Threequel
I beat and platinumed the new Spider-Man 2 video game this past week and had a total blast. I’ve been playing Spider-Man games since I was a wee lad, and this new series has seen some of the best ever. Swinging around the city, fighting bad guys, getting some great Spider-Man stories, has all been a true video game achievement. And I’m looking forward to many more to come!
Game Rating: 9/10 – Great!
There are going to be more games. The three so far have been super successful and super popular, and Spider-Man is on a role in the larger pop culture universe. Marvel and Sony need to keep striking while the iron is hot, so I expected more games. I don’t know if we’ll get another interlude like the Miles Morales game, or if we’ll go straight to Spider-Man 3, or if there will be any DLC for Spider-Man 2. But I know there will be a threequel, and I have demands, hopes and dreams for what I want to see in that game!
Join me after the jump for all the characters, concepts and stuff I want to see in the Spider-Man video game threequel. Expect FULL SPOILERS for the full game. And feel free to share your own game wants in the comments below.

Godzilla Minus One comes out in America in early December, and the Toho Company is really ramping up the awesomeness. The movie looks great and looks to be very cool. You can see for yourself with this new trailer.
Beyond that trailer, they’ve also produced a 10-minute YouTube short about Godzilla fighting Megalon. Because why the hell not?! They’ve got this CGI Godzilla model, why not put him to good use and stomp Megalon? There are some rumors I’ve seen online that Godzilla will fight another monster in Minus One, but we don’t have proof of that yet — or at least I don’t. So enjoy Godzilla fighting Megalon!
And then we can all enjoy Godzilla Minus One in a month…or earlier, if you already live in Japan.

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 11/4/23
We’re less than a week away from The Marvels and excitement is in the dumpster! What has become of the MCU? I know I’m still going to see the film opening night and hopefully enjoy myself. Until then, how about some comics? Like Avengers and Batman!
Comic Book of the Week goes to Scarlet Witch #10 for a fun, if slightly anticlimactic finale to probably my favorite comic of the year.
Meanwhile, I’m planning to finish off the Spider-Man 2 game this weekend. It’s been a blast, though perhaps not as powerful a blast as the first two games. Still fun, and I hope we get plenty more in this series. Honestly, they should just keep the graphics/gameplay the same and just keep putting out DLC chapters every few years. I’d be happy with just that.
Comic Reviews: Avengers #7, Batman/Catwoman: The Gotham War: Scorched Earth #1, and Scarlet Witch #10.

Back before Marvel Studios was having all these woes, they greenlit and filmed a new TV show about the character of Echo, who was a villain in the Hawkeye show. She’s a C-or-so-list character in the comics, and was a pretty solid part of Hawkeye, but did she need her own show? I guess we’ll find out in January!
I’m not opposed to Echo getting a show. But this feels like Marvel counting their chickens before they’re hatched. I loved the Hawkeye show, but she was hardly the most memorable part. And they don’t have the Midas Touch anymore. But the trailer looks cool, and more Kingpin and Daredevil is always welcome. So we’ll just how to see how this plays out.
Echo comes to Disney+ and I think Hulu on January 10.
