New Ninja Turtles Movie Still Looks Like Dumb Fun

I stand by my enjoyment of the first Michael Bay-produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. It’s big, dumb fun starring some of my all-time favorite characters. The Ninja Turtles have been re-invented so many times over the decades that what’s one more? Hopefully the sequel will be just as fun.

I especially like what I see from Bebop and Rocksteady! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows will come out on June 3.

Harry Who? Behold Your New Wizarding Hero!

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is already planned as a trilogy. Does anybody else think that’s a bad idea? It’s great that JK Rowling is involved, but still…you can’t force a new franchise. But heck, what do I know? The first full trailer looks pretty cool.

Plus it’s the Wizarding World of America! We’re all dying to see that, right?

Suicide Squad Might Just Be the Anti-Thesis of Batman v. Superman

A fun new trailer for Suicide Squad arrived last night, and I’m even more excited to see this movie. DC is doing something right!

Of course, I might just be a sucker for musical numbers.

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 4/9/16

Welcome to another installment of Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews! We’re right on the verge of a great comic book movie season, and we’re right in the middle of some great comic books overall. I am very pleased with the industry these days, and I love comics like Batgirl, Spider-Man and Invincible Iron Man.

Comic Book of the Week goes to Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers #2 for tapping into the sheer, silly nostalgia inside of me. Green Ranger is the best Ranger.

It’s like a dream come true

Speaking of good comics, don’t forget to check out my own series, Gamer Girl & Vixen! Order your copy and support us on Kickstarter!

Comic Reviews: Batgirl #50, Black Panther #1, Invincible Iron Man #8, Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers #2, and Spider-Man #3.

Cloak and Dagger Are Coming to TV!

The Marvel TV shows just keep coming! It was announced yesterday that Cloak and Dagger are coming to the Freeform channel, formerly ABC Family. I understand why they changed the name, but what kind of coked-up focus group came up with ‘Freeform’? Regardless, we’re getting a Cloak and Dagger TV show.

All characters have hope

I am definitely a fan of all this comic book and superhero-based TV. Bring it on. I love the Marvel Netflix shows, I enjoy Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Peggy Carter, I like The Walking Dead, I’m looking forward to Preacher, I love Arrow and The Flash, I sometimes watch Supergirl; if you produce it, TV people, I will probably check it out.

What do you henchies think? Cloak and Dagger are solid characters, and their story could make for some good attractive young people-based romance.
