It’s Quick, But It’s Also Definitely Ghost Rider
Marvel and ABC have been slowly doling out looks at Ghost Rider in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and here’s the best one yet! It’s a quick little snippet of flaming car, but it’s pretty sweet.
See? It’s on fire! I’m definitely super excited now. Brig on new Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.!

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 9/10/16
Anybody else get real lazy on a vacation? And I don’t mean a vacation where you go on an awesome trip and have great adventures. I mean a staycation, where you largely spend the time sitting at home playing video games, reading comics and occasionally venturing out to catch Pokemon. That’s the kind of vacation I just had, and it was pretty neat. But man, did it take a lot of effort to actually write comic book reviews this week. But I got it done!
Some quality comics this week, including Iron Man, Nightwing and Doctor Strange, even. But Comic Book of the Week easily and handily goes to Harley Quinn #3, for bringing joy and romance to all of comics! There is no better relationship these days than Harley and Ivy!
They are a shining beacon in all of comics. If only Nightwing was this much fun. Or Iron Man. And the new Supergirl Rebirth would have greatly benefited from some of that charisma.
Comic Reviews: Doctor Strange #11, Harley Quinn #3, Invincible Iron Man #13, Nightwing #4 and Supergirl #1.
The Star of PeeWee’s Big Holiday Has Been Cast as Deathstroke the Terminator!
The breakout character in PeeWee’s Big Holiday was, without a doubt, Joe Manganiello, played by actor Joe Manganiello. He was just fantastic! And I have some good news for everybody: he’s now also been cast as Deathstroke the Terminator in the DC Cinematic Universe. Most likely, he’s going to face off against Batman in the upcoming solo Batman movie.
It’s a little outside his comedy range, but I think this guy can pull it off.
Will he be as good as when he played Joe Manganiello? I guess we’ll see. He’s also got to live up to the great Deathstroke in Arrow. At the very least, here’s a Batman villain who can actually fight Batman. That should be fun.

6 More Great Cameos on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
Hello, everypony! Welcome to another List of Six about one of my favorite cartoons, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. If you didn’t know, I’m a total brony, but not in any of those weird, private ways. Those people are entitled to their own lives, I just like the show. It’s well-made, has relatable and interesting characters, and is clearly put together by a bunch of pop-culture loving geeks like me! Why do I say this? Because the animators like to cram a ton of awesome pop culture references into the background of nearly every episode! I chronicled some of the best cameos in a previous List a few years ago.
And now I’m back to do it again!
Since writing the last list, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic has kept producing new episodes and seasons like any other non-cancelled show. And with age comes daring do, it seems, because there have been even more cameos than before! Heck, some of the pop culture reference characters have even joined the show and gotten speaking parts. I’ve gotten a couple henchies commenting to let me know about some of the new cameos, so I’ve decided to whip up another awesome cameo list!
Join me after the jump and enjoy!
First Sneaky Look at Movie Shocker!
I don’t normally like to set photos from movies still in production, because part of me feels like it ruins the magic. But this one is pretty awesome, because it’s our first look at the costume of the Shocker in the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming movie! It’s a very homemade sort of look, but it fits the character’s color scheme at least, which is cool. Word has it that actor Bokeem Woodbine is playing the role.
Word also has it that this is just Shocker’s first costume, and that maybe he gets an upgrade later. Sounds good to me. The Shocker is one of my favorite Spider-Man villains, and I am very excited to see him in the movie. He’s perfect for a minor role, to give Spidey more bad guys to punch without overloading the movie with villains.
