I Don’t Know the First Thing About Lupin III, But This Looks Fun

Anybody know anything about Lupin III? I don’t know if he’s French or Japanese or what, but he had a CGI movie in his home country…last year, I think? Suffice to say, I am doing absolutely no research whatsoever for this blog post. I’m just sharing the new English dub trailer!

Looks like he’s some kind of thief…and has wacky adventures? That seems about right. Lupin III: The First is coming to select theaters on Oct. 18, and then will be available digitally in December. Looks like I’m waiting until December.

Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts is Coming to An End!

The final season of Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts is coming to Netflix in two weeks! This is a wonderful little show and I’m excited to get a fitting conclusion.

Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts is only three seasons long and it’s all wonderful. Highly recommended. It does go in some weird directions here and there, but it’s overall a really nice adventure.

Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts season 3 arrives on Oct. 12!

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 9/26/20

This week was a stark reminder of how little comics I actually read. Nothing on my DC pull list came out this week…despite issues of the likes of Superman, Aquaman, Batgirl and many more. I either need to expand my reading list again or…I don’t know. I just need to read more comics!

Plenty of Marvel comics to enjoy this week, though. From the return of Doctor Doom and Spider-Man to the start of X of Swords! Comic Book of the Week goes to Juggernaut #1 because I liked that one the best!

I do like the new design

Meanwhile, I’ve started watching the show Letterkenny on Hulu. It’s pretty fun. Pretty recommended. And Enola Holmes on Netflix was also good. So I’m in a good place when it comes to watchables right now.

Comic Reviews: Doctor Doom #7, Drakon: New Dawn #2, Juggernaut #1, Spider-Man #4, Spider-Woman #4 and X of Swords: Creation #1.

Honest Trailers Goes Buck Wild

Let’s just make fun of everybody! Honest Trailers takes a shot at all of the streaming services! Take those weirdos down a peg.

I’m a big fan of the streaming service utopia we live in these days. Instead of paying for cable, I can pick and choose which shows I specifically want to see and just go straight to watching them. And I feel like Netflix and the like are more open to trying out wilder and weirder shows than network or cable TV.

Vive le streaming services!

Nick Frost is Gonna Seek Some Truth

Nick Frost and Simon Pegg have a new, supernatural TV show coming to Amazon Prime at the end of October. It’s called Truth Seekers and it looks like it could be pretty cool.

I think Frost and Pegg wrote this series, or at least created it. But I also think, based on the trailer, that it’s only really going to feature Simon Pegg. This is definitely not a show starring the two of them as a team. All the marketing seems to think it’s a Pegg/Frost adventure…but you ain’t fooling me!

Still, looks good and I’m always up for good new shows. Truth Seekers comes to Amazon Prime on Oct. 30.
