There’s Gonna Be Another Tomb Raider Game
If you’re like me, you never played any of the classic Tomb Raider games that made the series popular in the first place. If you’re also like me, the first ever Tomb Raider game that you actually played was the 2013 reboot, which you enjoyed enough to buy and play the 2015 sequel, Rise of the Tomb Raider.
And this means you’ll be excited to hear about the threequel, Shadow of the Tomb Raider!
Yeah, I’m excited to have another game in this series to play. It’s a fun action game with solid gameplay, cool cinematic moments, and an OK storyline. Bring on another one! I’ll gladly play.
Also, while we’re on the subject, I mostly enjoyed the forgettable Tomb Raider movie earlier this year. It’s based on this series of games, and they do an OK job with it, but made a lot of boring story and character choices. Could have been better. We probably won’t get a sequel.
But hooray for a new game in a couple months! Did I tell you readers that I’ve decided to splurge on a Playstation 4, to get me back into the console game after 2+ years?

We Need a New Ninja Turtles Fighting Game
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were added to the roster of the Injustice 2 fighting game this month, and they’re pretty amazing. Injustice 2 is already a fun game, with a huge roster of DC Comics characters. I don’t know what deals were struck to add the Ninja Turtles, but you can play as all four, they are super fun and they look pretty amazing. The graphics, especially on the Turtles, are stellar.
This has me longing for a new Ninja Turtles fighting game. The world had one ages ago, called Tournament Fighters. So such a thing already exists in the world.
Now I just need the geniuses at NetherRealm Studios to use the same fighting engine and graphics of Injustice 2 to make a full Ninja Turtles fighting game. We don’t need an Injustice 3, even if I’ve already done a List of Six of characters I’d want to see in the threequel. I want a Ninja Turtles fighting game. We should all want it!
Obviously you’d have all four Turtles as playable, plus Splinter, Shredder, Krang, a Foot Soldier, Bebop, Rocksteady, April, Casey Jones; the basics. And then the sky is the limit to round out the roster! Injustice 2 has at least two dozen characters, with more added via DLC. So how about Wingnut and Screwloose! And the Punk Frogs! Or Ray Fillet, Rat King, Baxter Stockman, Monty Moose, Walkabout, Halfcourt, Zodi, the new badass scorpion from the comics, or Leatherhead or Chrome Dome or Antrax!

I love the Ninja Turtles and I love the endless supply of nifty mutants! After seeing the Heroes in a Half Shell in action in Injustice 2, with the supreme graphics, voice acting and easter eggs, I just gotta have more!

6 DC Characters I Want to See in Injustice 3
I am currently stuck in a rut with the DC superhero fighting game Injustice 2. I like the series well enough, but I’ve never been a huge fan of fighting games in general. For this sequel, however, they introduced character leveling and loot boxes, and that’s where I’m stuck. Basically, you now earn new gear and equipment so your fighters can play dress-up!
Injustice 2 is a character redesign game, and I just have to grind through some fights to get new outfits for everybody!
An evil Superman? Who’da thunk it
The outfits don’t mean anything. It’s not like I compete on any multiplayer level, or that I’ll be saving the outfits to share with anybody. I just like seeing all the superheroes dressed up in fancy new duds. Hopefully another video game will come along soon to break me out of this loot-grinding rut!
Until then, I’ve got a few ideas for what superheroes and villains need to appear in the next game, should they make an Injustice 3! Join me after the jump for my ideas!
My 6 Favorite Things of 2017
In just a few short days, 2017 will come to an end and we’ll all move on with our lives. Was it a good year? I suppose. The highlight of the year was publishing my own graphic novel, Gamer Girl & Vixen, with my awesome team. And I just got off a great family trip to Universal Studios in Florida. And I’m not dead yet. So I suppose 2017 was an OK year.
Thank god it’s almost over
And like every other pop culture-infused website on the Internet, I’m putting together a list of my favorite bits and pieces of the pop culture year. Unlike all those other websites, I don’t have an entire staff of people to check in on everything. I only experienced the few things I experienced. For example, I don’t have a Nintendo Switch or a Playstation 4, so I missed out on some of the year’s best video games. On the other hand, I made a point to go see more movies in the theaters, so I have more to pick from. It’s been a weird year.

Welp, I’m Definitely Going to Have to Buy Injustice 2
The DC fighting game sequel, Injustice 2, is finally coming to PC in a couple weeks. I was considering getting the game in the first place, but now it’s an absolute certainty. Look which fighters they’re adding to the game!
I mean, I guess you can be excited for the Atom and Enchantress, but why would you? It’s the freakin’ Ninja Turtles, yo! In a quality, high caliber fighting game! I can only hope their successful addition will spawn a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fighting game in the Injustice vein!
