The Dragonborn Comes

I’ve realized for a few months now that not only did I never write a proper review for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, but I also never let my readers know how my orc warrior Tannenbaum did on his quest. Suffice to say, he kicked ass and saved the world from the dragon menace. The game was awesome. I logged in more than 100 hours over three characters…but then sadly, my interest died down the moment after I beat the main story. Which sucks. I never played my side characters to their fullest, or really even finished with Tannenbaum.

But I do hope for some excellent DLC one of these days. My idea is to get Tannebaum married and set him up in the biggest mansion in the land, having retired from adventuring after he saved the world. Then when the DLC hits, he’ll have to come out of retirement. It’ll be awesome.

To make up for my lack of Skyrim closure, here’s the absolute best song from the game, song by a nice lady named Maluka. It’ll take people back.

Video Games are the Movement of the Soul

Or at least they will be for you once you watch this brilliant video called ‘Go Right’. We were all raised in a world of 8-bit platformers and plucky little plumbers. When victory was always somewhere to the right, and only a few power ups or a boss fight away. This was when video games were pure. When they were simple and enjoyable. And watching this video, by RockyPlanetismal, will take you back to those days of yore. Wonderfully touching and delightfully nostalgic, I do hope you enjoy.

A Tiny Peek at Harley Quinn’s Revenge

Harley Quinn’s Revenge is real, baby! And it’s coming to us at the end of May! Not only is it going to be attached to the upcoming Game of the Year Edition of Batman: Arkham City, but the DLC itself is going to be available for Playstation 3 on May 29 for $9.99, and then for X-Box: 360 on May 30 for 800 Microsoft Points! Hells yeah! And it’s definitely going to be a new story mission, not just challenge maps and the like. Which means we are actually going to get Robin as part of a story mission! Perhaps he’ll even be free to move around Arkham City!

I knew buying that Arkham City Robin action figure wasn’t a waste of money!

Anyway, check out this video and you can see about 5 seconds of Harley.

Or you can just look at this screenshot to get the entire gist of that 5 seconds. Apparently Harley is going to dye her hair black. Perhaps because she’s in mourning?

For some reason, DC Comics apparently just hates Harley's classic look.

As always, I will keep you lovely readers informed about any further developments.

I Have Never Played a Single Zelda Game, Ever

But that’s not going to stop Mitchell Moffit from creating this awesome Zelda musical cartoon! In fact, that might just encourage the guy to make something so sweet. It’s got music, it’s got babes, it’s got good versus evil and it’s got some amazing graphics. So watch and enjoy!

Dual-Wielding Pinkie Pies

Some insanely awesome soul has combined two of my favorite things: Skyrim and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Computer-savvy people are able to modify parts of the Skyrim game, from character skins to sounds to whatever else. And this someone, Gamerboy, has made their character look like Pinkie Pie (the insaniest of all the ponies), an dthen just runs around killing people. But the best part: they also modified the swords and arrows to also look like Pinkie Pie! So this is like some awesomely-themed murderous super-villain!

Enjoy!
