An Animal Man Cartoon is Now a Thing
I’ve cheered the DC Nation animation block on Cartoon Network several times before, and now I’m here to do it again! A tiny snippet of a preview of an Animal Man animated short has hit the web, and it’s just as delightful as the Super Best Friends Forever clips! If not moreso. The ‘theme music’ for Animal Man just squeals “turn me into a full time show immediately!”
Check it out:
Hopefully the full-length clip will be available sometime this weekend.
The Doctor Who RPG by College Humor
Sadly, this isn’t real. But quite honestly, after watching this video, how can anybody make sense of Doctor Who? Sheesh! The geniuses at College Humor have put together a video showcasing Doctor Who as if it were a 16-bit RPG from the Super Nintendo era. It’s funny, but mostly it’s insane. But it sticks very closely to the actual episodes, so it’s the show Doctor Who that’s really the insane one!
Fans will love his. People who don’t watch Doctor Who won’t have any idea what’s going on.
SPOILERS: This contains spoilers to seasons 5 and 6 of Doctor Who, the Matt Smith years. Don’t watch if you haven’t seen those episodes yet!
You Can’t Tell Me What Toys I Can Play With
There are few things a Brony such as myself likes more than when the rest of the world acknowledges the awesomenss of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. So let’s give it up to that maniac with the microphone, mc chris, for his My Little Pony rap! The song ‘Discord’ premiered on his website on April Fool’s Day, but you’re all fools if you don’t love it.
April Fools Day Begins with Awesomeness
I love April Fools Day. And I love the Internet’s response to April Fools Day. All the silly little website changes, jokes and Rickrolls. Google is always good for a great joke, and so is the pop culture website IGN. This year they may have outdone themselves, enlisting the talents of Harry Partridge to make a Saturday morning cartoon version of Mass Effect. Perhaps you’ll remember Partridge’s Watchmen Saturday morning cartoon?
Anyway, enjoy the new video and Happy April Fools Day!
In the Game of Ponies, You Love or You Tolerate
I don’t know why this mash-up of My Little Ponies with the Game of Thrones opening music exists, it just does. That’s how the Internet works. Game of Thrones returns this Sunday, but sadly I don’t want it episode per episode on TV. I’ll wait sometime down the line to see season 2. For now though, enjoy this epic piece by Pony Parodys.
