Last Week to Order Gamer Girl & Vixen!

The Kickstarter for my comic, Gamer Girl & Vixen, has entered its final week! This is everybody’s last chance to pre-order my comic and help push us over the top! We’re only a few hundred dollars away from our goal, so every single person who jumps in right now is doing good!

Order your copy of the Gamer Girl & Vixen graphic novel today!

The comic is about two lesbian super-crooks who decide to go into the burglary business together, only for the sparks to start flying almost immediately. We want to publish a 100+ page graphic novel telling the first story of the girls teaming up and getting up to no good.

Order your copy today, and you’ll get it by the end of the year!

The Gamer Girl & Vixen Kickstarter Is Live!

The time is finally here to pre-order your copy of the Gamer Girl & Vixen graphic novel! As many of you henchies know, I’ve been working on my own self-published comic book for a few years now. Gamer Girl & Vixen is the story of two LGBTQ super villains who fall in love on all the wrong rooftops. I co-wrote the comic with my writing partner, Kristi McDowell, with art by Gemma Moody and lettering by Taylor Esposito.

Lend your pal Henchie your support!

Seriously, if you’re making comics, hire a professional letterer. They make all the difference!

We will be running the campaign for the entire month of April. The book costs $25, and comes with a personalized ‘Thank You’ written on a collectible Gamer Girl & Vixen postcard. And if I know you’re one of my readers, I can send you a special Henchman-4-Hire prize!

So head on over to my Kickstarter page and see it for yourself! There’s a link to read the first issue for free, to see whether or not you’ll like the comic. And if you order the printed graphic novel and let me know that you’re a henchie, I’ll send you something special when we ship the comics later this year!

Thank you, everybody, for your support through all this!

Read the First Issue of Gamer Girl & Vixen for Free!

As we gear up for the next Kickstarter on April 2, my team and I are offering the first issue of Gamer Girl & Vixen for everyone to read! All you have to do is sign up for our mailing list and we’ll send you a link to download Gamer Girl & Vixen #1. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.

We’ll be using the mailing list to advertise comic news, and other news from the LGBT community. It’ll go out likely twice a month. And there will be more Gamer Girl & Vixen news as we get closer to the Kickstarter next month. Has anybody read the first issue yet? What did you think? Let everybody know in the comments!

Gamer Girl & Vixen is Going Back to Kickstarter!

Hey there, comic book and blog fans! I’ve got some big news on the future of my own project, Gamer Girl & Vixen! We’re going back to Kickstarter on April 2! This time, we’re going to publish a gorgeous, full color, 100-page GG&V graphic novel!

So save the date!

We had a huge outpouring of support last year to kick off this project, and we’re going even bigger this time around.

Gamer Girl & Vixen is an LGBT-friendly comic about love, lesbians and larceny! When two costumed crooks meet cute on their college campus, they decide to go into the burglary business together. But playful flirting and brushes with adventure lead to real feelings. It’s a supervillain romance!

Making this comic has been such a huge blast. I’ve always wanted to be a writer, and with Gamer Girl & Vixen, I’m finally getting out there and making it happen. I hope I can convince you all to help support the project next month.

To kick off the campaign this year, we’re offering everyone a FREE COPY of Gamer Girl & Vixen #1! Join our mailing list and you’ll be given a link to download the first issue! Read it for yourself, see what all the fuss is about. Then mark your calendar for April 2!

My Script Has Been Rent Asunder at The Proving Grounds!

I submitted another script to The Proving Grounds peer review at Comix Tribe, and this one got torn to ribbons. The story is Guards!, about¬†beautiful princess taken prisoner by an evil king, and the lowly dungeon guard who decides to rise up and rescue her himself. I was really confident about this one, but it didn’t do so well.

Check out the session at!

Looks like I might have to go back to the drawing board on this one. Or maybe tweak it a little bit and find some other directions for it. Big thanks to the Comix Tribe editors for the review.
