When contemplating the Internet, one must accept that anything you could ever possibly imagine already exists in some far corner of the Information Superhighway. Or how about:

My blog is a fairly nerdy blog. Comic books, video games, geeky movies, it’s the natural order of things around here. And I’m not ashamed to admit that I am, indeed, something of a nerd. Been that way all my life. Let’s not even talk about high school. So how about we start this morning by making fun of some jocks! Wooooooo!

Live Action Hong Kong Phooey and Marvin the Martian
Of all the random things you thought you might see today, I bet you didn’t expect test footage from live action versions of Hong Kong Phooey (the #1 super guy!) and Marvin the Martian! What do those two properties have to do with one another? Apparently they’re being made by director Alex Zamm. Or at least the Phooey one is still in production, with some kind of Eddie Murphy attached. Marvin the Martian has been cancelled though. At least according to Bleeding Cool.

Created by students at Victoria University, the lamp can track and register faces and sounds. Not only that, but stay tuned towards the end of the video, where it demonstrates the power to fight for its life! When the guy tries to turn the off switch, Pinokio defies the very order of humans and appliances! So watch out, everybody. The Robot Apocalypse may be starting right here. Just look at how adorable that lamp is and tell it won’t soon be asking you about love.
Nicholas Cage Makes Everything Better
I’m not one to indulge in the ‘Nicholas Cage is Insane’ Internet meme. Mostly because I’ve seen only a few of his insane movie roles. I like him in Con Air and Gone in 60 Seconds. But the meme persists, and people like Pleated Jeans have good fun with it.
