The Artsiest Fan-Film You Will Probably Ever See

The following 17-minute movie is about a comic book character, but I’m not going to spoil who. You’re just going to have to watch and enjoy.

The little movie is written and directed by Joe Lynch, the same guy behind that Punisher fan-film Dirty Laundry from a few years ago. This film is long, sure, and it’s in an odd black and white style, similar to a classic foreign film called Man Bites Dog. But don’t let that scare you. Like I said, it’s the artsiest and neatest fan film you will probably ever see.

My Little Pony arrives on Xbox Marketplace

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic avatar items are now on sale for Xbox Live Arcade. Rainbow Dash is the only available “Pet,” shown above, but more are sure to come!

New from Natasha Allegri: Bee and Puppycat

Natasha Allegri, character designer and storyboard artist for Adventure Time, brings us this clip from her new cartoon series, “Bee and Puppycat.”  And it’s amazing.

Cosplay is Hot, Miley Cyrus is Not So Much

Stage 5 has produced an epic Miley Cyrus song parody about cosplaying. Good times.

I love me a good geeky music parody. This one is from Miley Cyrus’ We Can’t Stop music video. Clearly this geeky comic-con cosplay parody is much better than the original. And watching this video is probably the closest I’ve ever come to listening to a Miley Cyrus song.

Speaking of cosplay, I’ll be heading to the Boston Comic-Con in early August and dressing up as an X-Men character. Any of my readers going to Boston Comic-Con this year?

Final Dance Fantasy

Let’s start our Monday right with some Final Fantasy-inspired song and dance!

I always enjoy a good, rhythmic dance routine. If only those Step Up 2 the Streets movies used video game themes. Thick of the cross geek promotion! This video was made by Mike Song, though if I’m being honest, it probably could have used more beautiful women. Or maybe a whole army of dudes.
