I Still Haven’t Seen Fan4stic

I’m pretty sure all movie critics and moviegoers did this job for them, but Cinema Sins has gotten around to finding Everything Wrong with the new Fantastic Four. At least now I can say I’ve seen enough of the movie to not have to watch it for real.

Yep, that movie seems as bad as everyone said. That’s good enough for me! Poor Fantastic four, they get no respect.

About Sean Ian Mills

Hello, this is Sean, the Henchman-4-Hire! By day I am a mild-mannered newspaper reporter in Central New York, and by the rest of the day I'm a pretty big geek when it comes to video games, comic books, movies, cartoons and more.

  1. In all honesty, I didn’t mind the Fantastic Four movie. In fact, I think I liked it more than the 2005 version, but I’m also not as big of a geek about Fantastic Four as I am, say, about the X-Men. This movie definitely could have been better, but I was also curious as to how they would have continued the franchise if it got enough interest to warrant a sequel. I’ll have to watch Cinema Sins’ commentary later! 🙂

    • It’s a good Sins! They’re really on point. I don’t know what I’d like to see from the franchise going forward. I kind of think the F4 are a little too toxic right now.

      • I love Cinema Sins, even when they’re bashing movies that I enjoy, haha! It’s a shame for the F4 franchise. Maybe they’ll try again in another decade. 😉

  2. Honestly, “everything wrong with Fantastic Four” can be summed up with “everything in Fantastic Four.” There was no redeeming feature. They made Johnny Storm angry and bitter. And that really just sums up the whole movie, right there. Johnny Storm – the fun, cheerful, thrill-seeking party-boy – was angry and bitter.

There are stupid things about the movie that even these guys didn’t mention. Literally the only reason to watch this piece of shit movie is to make fun of it.
