The Wasp is Definitely Coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
Normally I try to stay on top of cool casting announcements in all the best superhero TV shows and movies, but this one is trickier. If you haven’t seen Ant-Man yet, I don’t want to spoil anything. But at the same time, this is a pretty big deal. Anytime Marvel pushes a female superhero in their movies needs to be a big deal now.
So I’m going to save all the key information until after the jump. Just know that Marvel Studios Grand Master, Kevin Feige, has confirmed that the Wasp will appear somewhere in Phase 3. She won’t show up with Ant-Man in next year’s Captain America: Civil War. But there are going to be a bunch of Phase 3 films, including the two-part Infinity War. So she’ll likely debut in one of those.
Join me after the jump for the lowdown on the Wasp and a look at her costume! SPOILERS for Ant-Man — which, for the record, was a really good movie!
Ant-Man is all about Hank Pym mentoring Scott Lang into becoming the new Ant-Man, while his own daughter, Hope Van Dyne, is left out in the cold. She wants to put on the suit, but her overprotective father won’t let her — until the mid-credits scene, where Hank Pym reveals this prototype Wasp costume!

I just want to point out that it’s kind of ridiculous that this costume doesn’t have sleeves! It’s an important plot point that the Ant-Man costume is fully contained, so that a human body can survive at such a small size. But just because this is a costume for a woman, she’s got to show skin!
At which point, Hope, utters the line, “It’s about damn time.”
So yeah, pretty solid introduction for the Wasp, I think. And I hope audiences like Ant-Man enough to remember her when she shows up down the road in future movies. No word yet on an Ant-Man sequel, but I hope Marvel keeps Evangeline Lily around so that she can take flight as the Wasp!

If it is just a prototype maybe the sleeves are just not done yet, maybe it has something to do with the wings and how those are the parts that get more force from them so it needs something different than the rest of the suit.
that is how i interpreted it
Hmmm, I suppose that’s a reasonable explanation.
