Pokemon Fusions Are a Thing, and They Are Amazing

I don’t know if you’ve noticed yet or not, but there’s a meme that’s been going around for awhile now called Pokemon Fusions. It’s this blog – Click Here – that randomly fuses two pokemon together to create a nifty, silly new gene-spliced pokemon. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Here, I made an example:

Neat, right? Go ahead and try it out. It’s a ton of fun.

But I’m actually here to tell you that the Internet has taken Pokemon Fusions and done them one better. A bunch of professional artists, or at least people who can really draw well, have taken these Pokemon Fusions drawn them to look real, instead of looking like awkward cut and pastes. The results are both beautiful and horrifying, but all together brilliant.   1. Wow, some of those I hadn’t seen yet.Dorkly collected a bunch of them a couple weeks ago. Check them out. The best so far is definitely combining Onyx with Staryu.

    • I saw Dorkly’s and didn’t totally want to steal their idea. But I saw some of these new ones recently and decided to just go for it, because it’s just a fun Internet thing to share.
