I haven’t really liked her cutesy little character so much in the previews we’ve seen, but this time she’s absolutely adorable! I’ve always been a Sarah Silverman fan, but this really raises the bar a lot. If only we could get Vanellope von Schweetz to give us a profanity-laced rant about her Jesus. Now that would be a movie!

    I am very excited about this movie. This year we had to suffer through Ice Age and Madagascar sequels. Then Pixar limped to the plate with Brave. The only other contender is going to be the preposterous Rise of the Guardians; the very concept of which demands to be ridiculed. That means that once again the year’s best animated movie will be the Disney movie. (The last time was 2007 when Meet the Robinsons was clearly a better movie than Ratatouille). Proving again that you can’t out-Disney Disney. They invented the sport!

    Tragically it won’t win best animated picture because it’s about video games. But everyone everywhere will know Disney can still knock it out of the park without Pixar’s help.
