New Weird Al Polka Medley Has Dropped!
Randomly yesterday, I discovered that Weird Al has dropped a new polka medley. He takes a bunch of popular songs and polka-fies about 5 seconds of them into a fun medley. He’s been doing it for decades! And I even recognized some of these songs, despite my being about as disconnected to popular music as anyone. But this one is a hoot!
That video is a blast! Good old Weird Al. Does he have a new album coming out? Or did he just make this for fun as a one-off? Doesn’t matter! Make that magic, Weird Al!
No comic reviews this week. I was way too busy at work and it’s been crazy. Plus, not much came out. DC is doing Absolute Power and most of my regular comics are tie-ins. I’m only reading that sporadically. I should also do something about DC’s All-In as well…maybe next week…

The Weird Al Movie Will Save Us All
The geniuses of the world have gotten together to make a Weird Al Yankovic biopic for the Roku…streaming service? Channel? What is The Roku Channel? I have no idea. But that doesn’t matter! We’re getting a biopic parody film starring Daniel Radcliffe as Weird Al!
Honestly, part of me wonders if this whole movie can live up to the short and sweet humor of the trailer. How do you take some of those short, snappy parody moments in that trailer and turn them into full scenes of a movie? Maybe it’s only a half hour movie. I dunno. I just love what I’m seeing and can’t wait to watch the whole thing!

A Weird Al Biopic is Coming!
So the channel/thing that is Roku is making a biopic for Weird Al Yankovic, the greatest musician of all time. And it’s going to star Daniel Radcliffe as Weird Al, which might be the most inspired casting of all time. This whole thing just looks great!
This looks funny, subversive, weird and just plain darn good. I don’t know what Roku is, but I guess I’m going to have to get it by the time Weird comes out later this year.
