It is Insane to Me that Spider-Noir Exists, But Here We Are
Welp, there’s no going back now. They really have made a whole TV show in which Nicholas Cage stars as Spider-Man Noir in a black and white, semi-serious noir thriller on Amazon. Jeez Louise, people.
I don’t know how to react. I don’t know what to think about it. The show exists. Someone made it. They seem to have done an alright job of it? I can’t really even tell. I don’t even know if he has spider-powers. Cage did a fine job in the Spider-Verse movies voicing a cartoon character…is this even the same character?!
I guess we’re all just gonna have to watch the show and find out…
Spider-Noir comes to Amazon Prime on May 27, in both black and white and color.
How Does Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Look This Damn Good?
There’s a new trailer for the upcoming animated Spider-Man movie, and it looks even more phenomenal than before!
That’s comedian John Mulaney as Spider-Ham, and he kills it! And Nic Cage as Spider-Man Noir! And just look at that trailer! I was skeptical about this whole thing back when it was first announced — because Spidey is in very good live action hands these days, and we don’t need a saturated market — but this looks funny and heartwarming!
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse comes out in December!
