This is LEGO Sparta!

The same people who made yesterday’s Lego Inception seem to have also made a Lego 300 clip! Good times.

Thanks to Topless Robot for both finds.

Lego Inception

Sadly, this is not a trailer for an upcoming Lego video game for Inception. How cool would it be if it was? Instead, it’s just a neat bit of Lego CGI feature scenes from Inception. That’s pretty good too, I suppose.

Legos + Superheroes Combine for Hopefully Awesome Video Game

I didn’t play much of Lego Batman the game, despite getting it for Christmas. Whereas I loved the Lego Star Wars games, Batman never hit for me. Well now I can make up for that mistake with the sequel, coming out June 22. Not only will it still star Batman and Robin, but a ton of other DC heroes are getting added to the mix. Plus it has fully open world Gotham City for you to explore, either in the Batmobile, Batwing or hopefully with a flying Superman.

Not even the Arkham games have given us a fully open Gotham City yet!

Lego X-Men May Be Even Cooler Than Lego Avengers

I give you Lego Deadpool.

And a thousand nerds cried out at once in joy

I was kind of excited about the Avengers Legos that I posted the other day. But further search of the Lego sets at this year’s Toy Fair convention in New York City have revealed the first (of hopefully many) X-Men Lego sets! And we’re talking comic book X-Men sets. None of that movie crap.

The set features Wolverine, Deadpool and Magneto in some kind of helicopter-based battle. Why a helicopter? Who knows!? Who cares!? It’s X-Men Legos!

In this set, the helicopter is just padding

And here’s a close-up of the mini-figs.

Gotta say, Wolverine's claws look incredibly dorky. He's holding them

The X-Men are a brilliant license for Legos. They have been doing some amazing things with mini-figs recently. The bodies are heads are incredibly detailed, with mind-blowing accessories. So imagine if Lego could cut loose with the entire cast of X-Men characters? Cyclops, Emma Frost, Toad, Iceman, Archangel, Beast, Storm, Jubilee, there are just so many!

Say it with me now…Lego Multiple Man!

Take ALL of my money!

That’s a custom mini-fig made by Tin7.

Avengers Legos Look Awesome

Toy Fair 2012 is happening right now in New York City. It’s like a big, exciting toy convention showing off all the upcoming action figures and other knick knacks we can buy. I’ve been flipping through a lot of the pictures off the convention floor, but so far the action figures just look boring. The Amazing Spider-Man and The Avengers movies look like they’ll be producing the most basic action figures imaginable. We’re going to get a ton of Spider-Man figures, and then the various Avengers. Boring.

Fortunately, there are going to be some badass Legos.

I love what they've done with the Hulk

It’s like childhood dreams given physical form. Captain America? Hulk? The Avengers? they look so completely badass! Everyone except Iron Man, though. He looks stupid. But check out Black Widow’s hair. And Hawkeye looks sweet too. Plus turning Hulk into a ‘beast’ instead of just a regular mini-fig was brilliant.

Check out some actual Lego models after the jump!
