Gamer Girl & Vixen in ‘Dual Wielding’
It’s Friday, which means I’ve got another Gamer Girl & Vixen mini-comic to share! These were all super fun to make, and we’ll have one more to show off next Friday. This one is ‘Dual Wielding’ with art by Jesse Lundberg. And it features the introduction of Super Guard!

Meanwhile, the Gamer Girl & Vixen Kickstarter is doing gangbusters! We’re already over 80% funded in the first week, and we’re less than $1,000 from hitting our goal. This is magnitudes better than we did in any previous campaign! So thank you all very much for your support, and if you haven’t ordered a copy of the book yet, head on over and sign up! I’m for sure making comics, everybody!

The time has come, henchies! My new Kickstarter for Gamer Girl & Vixen vol. 2: Tyrant Lizard Queen has launched and I’m hoping you’ll check it out! It’s the sequel to the first graphic novel my team and I released a couple years ago. Both that first comic and the new one are available through this Kickstarter.

This project has been a labor of love! I’ve always wanted to be a fiction writer, and this is going to be my year for making more comics! I have more to reveal coming up for the year ahead. But for right now, I’m all-in on making more Gamer Girl & Vixen comics!
If you’re not familiar with the series, it’s about two LGBTQ supervillains who meet cute on the rooftops of New York and use their powers to rob celebrities! And in the new graphic novel, Gamer Girl & Vixen come up against their new adversary: Tyrannosaurus Regina, the Beyoncé of Crime! I can’t wait to get this story out there for people to read!

So check out the campaign and, if you’re in the mood, snag yourself a copy of my new comic!

Check Out Fairytales From Mars on Kickstarter!
As some readers may know, I am an aspiring comic book creator myself. And while I’ve got some pans in the fire, I’ve also got friends trying to make it as well. One of those friends is Kristi McDowell, my co-creator on Gamer Girl & Vixen. She and our editor, Jamieson Alcorn, recently launched their latest project on Kickstarter called Fairytales From Mars. It’s an anthology of Martian fairytale stories by a host of awesome creators!
I have a lot of faith in my friends and their comic collection. I haven’t been given any special peek into the project, but I think all the artwork looks amazing.
You can read more about the anthology — and read the 4-page preview — at their website.
Mostly I just want to support my friends and co-creators with their next big project. So I am appealing to you, my readers, to head on over to Kickstarter and pre-order yourself a copy of Fairytales From Mars! I think it’s going to be neat!
