More Superman Celebrations on the Way!

I’ve got my ticket for Man of Steel for the 7 p.m. showing Thursday night, so hopefully you guys and gals will see my review Friday morning. Man of Steel was my most anticipated superhero movie of the Summer, and I’m very excited to see it. I hope it’s damn good. Fortunately, it couldn’t do any worse than the now classic Superman IV: The Quest for Peace.

Good old Screen Junkies. I can always count on them to be a hoot! Now we just have to wait for them to do an Honest Trailer for Man of Steel! You just know it’s going to be good.

Honest Trailers does Star Trek

With Star Trek Into Darkness coming up, the fine people at Honest Trailers have nailed the 2009 Star Trek. It’s quite funny.

Honest Trailers is good people. I liked the part where they point out that the main cast all rose to their lofty positions almost by accident.

The Dark Knight Rises Honest Movie Trailer

Anybody else getting The Dark Knight Rises on DVD today? I know I am! But try to watch it while keeping some of this video in mind:

The movie does kind of fall apart when you think about it. I mean, why did they wait 3 months to blow up the bomb if they were always planning to blow it up in the first place? And what was the big deal about insisting that a citizen of Gotham held the trigger if they always planned to blow it up? Still, the movie did have Robin, so I’m still a very happy camper. Check out my review, if you’re interested.

It Will Never Stop Being Funny That the Amazing Spider-Man Uses Bing

Honest Trailers is back, this time parodying The Amazing Spider-Man.

Each and every one of these that they have made has been gold, or at least the ones I’ve seen. And they’re clearly having a lot of fun poking holes in some pretty popular movies. Even though I loved The Amazing Spider-Man, there’s no denying that Screen Junkies are right on the mark about this. No teenage science geek like Peter Parker would stoop to using Bing!

Making Fun of Prometheus Continues to Not Get Old

I’m really starting to love these Honest Trailers people. The DVD release of Prometheus has given rise to another wave of mocking laughter. If you recall, I didn’t quite care for it. Fortunately, there are people are funnier and more talented than I am on the Internet to put some of my exact thoughts into funny mock trailers.
